Summary
Set a year and a half on from the events of Assassin's Quest. Fitz, Kettricken and Chade find a way to restore Verity to human form. But the task leaves Fitz broken in mind and body. World weary, Fitz withdraws to his cabin in the woods to live in isolation for several months until King Verity seeks him out and drags him back to Buckkeep.

Verity was my absolute favourite character of the series and I just couldn't get enough of these two. So here is the Fitz & Verity centered fic I always wanted read, but could never find. Where Verity gets his happy ending and finally has enough time to help our boy Fitz deal with his host of PTSD and abandonment issues. SLOOOW paced exploration of Fitz and Verity's relationship. Anakin twitched a smile as Kix helped him stretch out and lie down on the propped up head of the bed. “I’d like that, trooper,” he murmured, thinking about how he could discuss his greatest failure in a constructive way with someone who would understand.
“Thank you, sir,” Kix replied, beginning to tap on a screen next to the bed before turning to place a hand on Anakin’s shoulder, gentle and calm. “Now lay back. You’re going to be fine, Commander.”

One little change, after a series of spectacular mistakes, because he is Loki, and now the Asgardian refugee vessel makes it to Earth in one piece. Now that Earth has Thor, Loki wrestles with how helpful he really needs to be in this whole defeating Thanos thing. He did his part, right? Now he would much rather spend his time causing mischief (with minimal property damage and no permanent physical harm, because Thor made him promise). Also, finding ways to put a certain Billionaire, Genius, Playboy, Philanthropist out of his mind or to possibly get in his pants, he isn't quite sure yet.

Summary
Firmus Piett is used to having to deal with dragon-related shenanigans aboard his beloved ship, considering how he's one of a handful of people alive who know about Darth Vader's propensity to shapeshift, and as such has taken upon the role of damage-controller whenever people begin to freak out about a dragon loose on the ship. Except, when he's informed of certain reptile-related elevator issues, he finds something a bit more surprising...
Upon discovering that the other can transform into a dragon, Luke and Leia quickly realize that they are siblings and together, set off to... well, they aren't quite sure what they're going to do. Yell at their father, yes, but other than that, they don't have much of a plan. After all, who needs a plan when you're a literal dragon?
Darth Vader is exhausted both physically and mentally after literal decades of war and bloodshed, and after seeing no end in sight, has sunk deeper into despair. All he wants to do is make a better world for his newly discovered son, but that task seems more and more impossible by the day, and he's losing hope, despite Piett's fierce adamance that things will get better.
It's just another day on The Executor, or so everyone thinks...
