"Yis," Grace sighed out, calming down. He still leaked, though.

Behind Usopp was the face of the devil. Metal, artificial and stilting, two lights glowing brighter than the sun he had been taken from, twiching with crosshairs akin to eyes. It had no mouth, but sharp edges of gears and machinery, winding and pulling on the artificial shell laid atop- perched on its head was a horn painted, inexplicably, a bright cyan blue. The creature took up the whole space of the vent, easily two or three times larger than him, and contorting itself in ways no organic thing could in order to rush closer. Usopp had half the mind to think, perhaps the horn is to attract a mate, before it was reaching towards him, inches away from his soft flesh, and he shot back into his body to scream and scramble anew.
Or: Usopp is human, and trapped among the alien strawhat crew. He acts, as most humans would, with an unwarranted amount of dramatics, screaming, and violence. The language barrier is certainly not helping any parties in this situation!

Even more unfortunately, Logan knows more about this situation than he would like to.AKA an AU that embellishes on the fact that Kurt was being used as a weapon by Stryker at the beginning of X2, turning the situation into a recovery scenario that ends up helping both Kurt and Logan overcome their Weapon X conditioning.

It was claustrophobic in another. More than anything, it was terrifying. All of that together made it exhilarating. She could feel a buzz in her bones, and she could feel her cheeks burning as she smiled more widely than she had in what felt like years. She looked up, hardly even remembering that she had closed her eyes until she opened them.
