Sequel to The Cat & The Emerald
Sunny and Shadow, after being trained and now acting as GUN agents, have been sent on a mission to stop Robotnik—Eggman—from whatever schemes he's up to this time. It was supposed to be a simple mission of observe and intercept while out in the Mediterranean. What it becomes, instead, is a fight against time itself while solving the mystery of a pair of ancient relics, the connection between them, and how events in the past, present, and future come together.
And through the ages a forgotten entity waits for its revenge...
Follows, mostly, the Shadow campaign from Sonic '06, with touches here and there of Sonic and Silver's own.

Summary
Summer "Sunny" was just another kid in the foster system, going from one family to the next. But, stumbling upon a perfectly cut gemstone became the catalyst to a series of events that would both upend her life, but also grant her things she never thought she'd get to keep. She just has to survive an evil genius's villainous schemes.
Follows through events of Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, a dash of Team Dark from Sonic Heroes, and some other references/inspiration from other Sonic media.
