Summary
Marasa was just here to make coin, not friends. Of course, nothing in her life had ever gone according to plan. How else would she find herself out in the ass-end of the Empire, doing jobs for the same people she’d happily have put in the ground thirty years ago?
In the forests of Falkreath, a chance encounter with a kindred spirit turned her life on its head. Now she found herself being dragged, kicking and screaming, into something far bigger than she ever could have imagined - all the while learning the past doesn’t always like to stay that way.
At least this time, she wouldn’t be alone if it all fell apart.

Summary
Maybe traveling the wastes running a free clinic wasn't the wisest decision, or at least the best way to make a living. Two years of running with the caravans led Dr. Asher Williams to the Commonwealth, and nothing could quite prepare them for that level of lifestyle change. It wasn't just the cold and terrible food either, but the whispered rumors of something far more sinister lurking just out of sight. It wouldn't be the first time Asher was in over their head, and hopefully it wouldn't be the last.
There was an old saying, something about curiosity and dead cats, that might apply here.

Summary
Deacon had a home once, one filled with light, with love. Home was something he thought he'd never see again, but wrapped in the warm night of Sanctuary, he may find it wasn't lost forever. It might be different, sun and moon, but the paint still peels the same.

Summary
The Institute may be gone, but that doesn't stop Deacon from getting himself injured in the dumbest way possible and landing himself on bed rest. Alone with his thoughts, he comes to terms with certain feelings he'd spent almost a year trying to ignore.
Sure enough, the subject of those thoughts wanders right in to check on him. Maybe for once, he's ready to throw caution to the wind.

Summary
Astarion thought he'd escaped his past. Then he inherited it.
Summary: When Astarion learns that he has inherited both Cazador's title and his horror show of a palace, Astarion wants to ignore the whole mess in the worst way, but Gale insists they return to Baldur's Gate and do the paperwork to truly rid themselves of the last of Cazador's ugly legacy. However, the house is haunted and has its own agenda for Astarion. Between a bureaucracy more convoluted than the schemes of the Dead Three, corrupt Patriars who want Astarion to step into Cazador's old shoes, and a tax bill large enough to crush Waterdeep, Gale and Astarion learn that Cazador is almost as much trouble dead as he was alive.
Canon Caveats: Plausible as post-canon canon-compliant fic, with some magical realism and exceptions to strict 5e magic rules.

Summary
“Is everything alright in here?”
Surprised, Astarion breaks away from the kiss, turning over his shoulder to see a second, identical Gale peering in from the balcony, wide-eyed as he watches.
Astarion looks at the Gale in his arms for a moment, still breathless from the kiss, before turning back to this unwitting voyeur with a mischievous grin.
Hm. Maybe that’s my Gale…
Astarion wakes to an empty bed. When he seeks his beloved out, he finds himself getting more Gale than he'd bargained for.

Summary
Gale and Astarion are engaged, but Astarion is dodging setting the wedding date. Gale tells Astarion they’re off to a “writer’s retreat”—conveniently omitting that Newleaf is actually Halsin’s group therapy camp for trauma survivors. Cue: summer camp chaos, emotional avoidance, sadboi shenanigans, and an in-progress romance novel that’s getting out of hand. There’s healing, there’s fighting, there’s a lot of sex (like really a lot, almost every chapter, sometimes more than once, lots and lots of emotional smut), and there’s at least one public meltdown.
Note: this is a sequel to Editorial Prerogative and Dedications. Best enjoyed after reading those, but I’ll drop a spoilerrific series summary in the Notes for chaos goblins and anyone who needs a refresher. Set a few months post-Dedications. Mostly canon-compliant. Smut is unskippable and plot-relevant—mind the tags and make good choices. Or don’t. I’m not your mom.
This was written for the Bloodweave Brainweave Discord Server's Gays of Summer 2025 event and hits quite a lot of the event keywords but was mainly inspired by "Summer Camp".
