Summary
Two women whose lives are completely different from one another cross paths because of one stupid adventure.
Abigail’s life is as boring as watching paint dry; a 9-to-5 accounting job keeps her life in a boring, repetitive routine. Her only light is the urban explorations she does on her breaks.
Suzie’s life is a mess; after a broken-up marriage, after she learns to embrace the part of herself she has hidden for years, she cuts contact with all her family, and her friendships are nonexistent, but finding a video on YouTube opens her eyes to new opportunities.
A supermarket mishap, a colorful bar, and a group with the same experience might be just what they need.

Summary
Jax wakes up after a long, long time, a bit the worse for wear.
On the one hand, she experienced ego death, is tired and hurting all the time, and cries like a faucet now.
On the other, she's too exhausted to bother with her old bluster, has accepted that she wasn't subtle at all about her gender woes, and is genuinely galaxies happier than she used to be.
But even so...an old question begins to nag at her.
"Have you...ever done something you regret?"

Summary
Five years ago, he’d received a “not now”, and for days after the self-hating part of his brain had interpreted it as “no, never”.
It was a few weeks after his “corruption fiasco”, as he referred to it, that he shot up in bed in the middle of the night, finally processing the weight behind Connie's choice of phrasing. At the time of the proposal he’d been heartbroken, but that night his heart was beating so heavily in his chest that it made his ears ring. Not now wasn’t even necessarily a no. He knew, logically, that it didn’t make them engaged, but the realization that woke him up was that not now meant that if he asked again in the future then her answer could very likely be yes
Five years after Steven Universe left Beach City, he comes to the peak of his journey of self-discovery when he realizes his life just wouldn't be the same without Connie in it.

Summary
Steven decides to go to high school. The Homeworld threat is neutralized. The Diamonds are actually acknowledging that he's not his mom. The gems have reluctantly admitted that he needs more human interaction outside his little bubble (pun intended). What better time to actually experience what it's like to be a normal teenager? He follows Connie to a bigger school the next city over, where people don't know his gem identity. He tries to keep it that way so people don't treat him any differently, and also so he feels like one of the cool super heroes with a secret identity in his comics. However, keeping this secret proves difficult as Steven is kind of a weird kid. Saving the world is one thing, but how will Steven memorize Mitochondria facts while also standing up to bullies without summoning his shield?

Summary
You don’t talk about it. No one needs to know if you’re doing it. No one needs to know what kind of gem you’re doing it with. No one needs to know what kind of monstrosity you think you make.
You don’t do it in public. You don’t walk around the streets, fused like you belong there.
Jade and Jade had already made that mistake once.
