“Thank you, my lord,” the Corinthian says. “It is good to live once more.” There is a familiar weight in his left hand, and the Corinthian is unsurprised to find that they are sunglasses. He puts them on.
“I await your command.”

“You sleep in a bag.” It sounds more ridiculous when Dream says it.
“It unzips,” Hob replies, feeling weirdly defensive. “It could just be a blanket, I mean, if you want to crawl under it with me, but… yeah.” He shrugs, and he’s sure it doesn’t escape Dream that he’s colored a little, high up on his cheeks. Mercifully, it looks like Dream has decided that’s a good look on him. “It’s comfy,” he continues. “Feels nice.” He frowns a tiny bit. “Surely you’ve gathered as much from rifling through my dreams of the last few centuries?”
Or, Hob takes Dream stargazing, and winds up being a) thoroughly railed, and b) the landscape.

Hob should have fucking known Dream, in his Endless lifetime, had learned how to wield such a weapon. Should have known when Dream came prepared with black leather gauntlets up to his elbows and supple black leather pants that would provide protection in addition to range of movement.
He just hadn’t thought… well, that didn’t matter now. Just leave it at that. Hob hadn’t thought.
Hob needs someone to sub in for an edged weapons demo very last minute. He probably should have been suspicious when Dream offered.
