Summary
While on a job, Dante encounters something he's never faced before - a fairy. And she inflicts him with a deadly curse. Vergil investigates the fairy to discover their father, the Dark Knight Sparda, left behind a secret legacy among the Fae. Vergil explores Avalon, uncovering Sparda's past, igniting old political feuds, and gaining power among the Fae.
Meanwhile, Nero is on a mission to lift Dante's curse and stop Vergil from tearing the world apart again. Dante becomes a fugitive hunted by the Fae, and V explores the psychic bond Vergil shares with the fairy.
