Aragorn didn’t join the Fellowship. Because his sister stole his job.
Rauthmirelle decided that being a potential court lady was boring, so she grabbed a sword and joined the Rivendell guard.
Estel—the real Aragorn—decided that being Aragorn was boring, so he shipped himself off to Lothlórien for a peaceful life among pretty trees.
Fast forward to the Council of Elrond.
Now Rauth is stuck on a quest with a suspicious elf prince who has working eyesight and an Olympic-level sense of sarcasm: Legolas, Prince of Mirkwood.
Sharp. Cold. Judgy. Possibly allergic to her entire personality.
And the worst part?
