Four days ago, in the light of an ice bear fridge, Harry had held a crumpled bullet in his hands, stained with purge fluid, and told you to keep it, lieutenant; as a gift. You’d turned it down at the time. You hadn’t particularly wanted to carry around a used bullet, no matter how important to the case it might be. Do you regret it? Probably not. Spring 46' - When three little bodies wash up on the bank of the Esperance, Lieutenant Dominique Conduvoir of the 57th's Homicide Division requests the liaison of Juvenile Crime's most experienced officer: Detective Kim 'pinball' Kitsuragi. What *should* have been a temporary partnership - not only launches Kim down his desired career path - but entangles both men in a Moralintern conspiracy that drives rot deep into the heart of Revachol.
