//He opened his eyes only to be met with a dark and musty room. It was overly humid in the room and he was hot even though he lacked a substantial amount of his clothes. In nothing but his boxers he sat against the hard gravel floor with his back leaning against the gross wall. A collar was attached to his neck and sat heavily on his shoulders. On it was a chain train attached to the wall. His hands were cuffed in front of him and feet tied with rope.
Oh yeah. He had been kidnaped. //
Shinsou is just learning a normal life but of course that is when everything changes. Again.
A little bit mad lady in love with the underground hero EraserHead finds out that he is training none other than Shinsou Hitoshi and decides the best course of action is to kidnap and torture the teen for information on EraserHead. What she did not prepare for is Shinsou's resilience and stubbornness.

"Shinsou couldn’t do much well. He couldn’t be nice to save his life. He sucked at school. And in no way possible could he be anything more than a villain. It wasn’t sad or tragic, it was just the facts. His aunt, who loves him dearly, even admitted to these things. But that’s alright. She still tolerates him and that's all he could ask for."
Shinsou's life is fine with an aunt who somehow tolerates him, crappy school mates, and cigarettes keeping him alive. But then it isn't fine. He's removed from his aunt's house to live with these two assholes who won't stop breathing down his neck all "worried" about him. He just wants to light a cig, get the fuck away from them, breathe, and put it back out on his villainous skin.

“I thought you already went to sleep, Toshi,” it’s Yamada. He has a before school tutoring session in the morning, there’s no way he should be awake this late. This shouldn’t be happening.

He doesn’t turn around, doesn’t stop walking, “bathroom,” he replies ever so intelligently.
There’s footsteps behind him, his own falter, “it’s okay if you can’t sleep. I can make you some tea.” That has no right to make him cry. But it’s just so kind.
He’s too slow to cover his mouth, the sob escaping his lips before he can muffle it. Always too slow. He shakes his head, even though there’s no question to answer, not yet. Tears leak down his face, dirtying his freshly washed hands, and that thought is enough to rip another sob from his throat. He deserves it, he knows, to be dirty and gross and so so fucking sad.

Summary
After a grueling battle in the U.A. Sports Festival, Aizawa Sensei begins training Hitoshi after school.

Summary
Hitoshi had no idea why Aizawa-sensei (or Yamada-sensei) welcomed him into their home so readily, trusted him so easily around Eri, and even seemed concerned for him at times with the way they always asked him how he was doing, which would normally annoy Hitoshi, but for whatever reason, he minded it less when it came from them. It gave him an odd feeling whenever he happened to be in their home, with them two, Eri, and their two cats.
The feeling was a sort of heady lethargy. It lolled his body from his normal guarded posture to soft shoulders and occasional smiles. He’d feel this light warmth that spread from his fingers to his toes, and it made him want to curl up and bask in the feeling for as long as it lasted.
The feeling also frightened Hitoshi beyond belief.
Did he really deserve to feel that way, in a home that wasn't his?

All heroes could earn emergency foster licenses that could be invoked as and when needed. However, these licenses only allow them to shelter any one given child for seven days. They had seven days to either: send Shinso back to his foster father. Find Shinso a new foster family. Or expedite getting their official foster licenses.

Aizawa goes on patrol, get intel that there may be a minor working underage in a bar. It's Shinso. Who had also been reported as ‘missing’ just a few hours ago. Aizawa brings Shinso to the Aizawa-Yamada apartment. Lots of tears, hugs and soup later, Yamada has to take photographic evidence for Hitoshi’s foster fathers case.Series

Maybe running away from his foster home in the middle of October wasn't the brightest idea Hitoshi has ever had. But the quiet cold and flicking street lamps were better than another wretched night in that oppressive apartment.
Should he call the UA student crisis line? Maybe? Does being told off for his mistakes, his stupidity, even constitute an emergency? Sure, it had been a little worse than usual, but this was normal.

The teen fished his phone out of his book bag, cringing at the notifications from his social worker, a spontaneous wellness check tomorrow afternoon.
Great.
By 4pm tomorrow he’d be a missing kid police report. The feds and heroes would be on a constant lookout for him. Even in running away he’d still be a burden.

Hitoshi’s foster father seriously injures Hitoshi for a ‘mistake’. Hitoshi determines that he is a burden and runs away from his foster home. Illegally uses his quirk to work in a shady bar that reeks, sleeps in a park and goes to UA the next morning. Aizawa’s not buying the story Hitoshi’s telling and tries to get the truth from him after a nearly nasty fall during afterschool training.

Summary
Shouta thought it was odd that Hitoshi wasn't already curled up, cat at his side, dozing against the kotatsu. But then he also remembered Hitoshi mentioning he had a paper due the previous afternoon and figured the kid had pulled an all-nighter.

Earthquakes weren’t uncommon in Japan. The country laid directly on a fault line, after all. School children are taught what to do in these natural disaster scenarios, taught to brace yourself against a doorframe or a sturdy table, to protect your head from falling debris. Hero’s are taught even farther than that, they’re taught how to support an injured person's neck, how to use your words calmly and patiently. How to coach a person through their untimely death.

Summary
Things have gotten better. Shinsou might not have made it into his dream school, UA, but the high school he attends is nice. He might not be on his way to becoming a professional Hero, but vigilante work is enough for him. He might not have been adopted, but his current foster parent is kind and providing. Sure he doesn’t have any close friends, but he also doesn’t have as many bullies. So, he would say that things have definitely gotten better… right?

Shinsou ignores his mental and physical health and it surprisingly doesn’t go very well. Apparently, prolonged sleep deprivation, unacknowledged emotional issues, and reckless vigilantism can really mess you up. Aizawa just wishes that vigilantes would tell the truth about themselves for once.

Train rides suck. Especially when everyone else on the train is about to go home and relax for the day. Not Shinsou. He's stuck on a sweaty train about to go home to work his ass off and deal with the fact that everyone at his foster house will ignore him once he gets home.
So he hates the train ride "home".
Especially when he meets /her/ on the train.OR: Shinsou deals with being sexually assaulted and emotionally abused with the help of two teachers. Maybe in the end his train ride will end up finally finding his home.
