Somehow, this bond of theirs grew so gradually, so subtly, escaping Viktor’s notice as it entwined itself into every facet of their lives, strangling all else with its roots until only its verdant bloom remained.
“Let me go, Jayce.”
The grip on him tightens. “I won’t.”
No. He’s made that quite clear. Viktor lacks the strength to shake him off; if he tried, Jayce would surely release him, but to rob Jayce of his sole source of comfort would not be right, nor good, and so Viktor waits. A minute passes, then two, then four.
The rune swallows them up, and abandons them in an unfamiliar land. Is this not what they wanted? With naught but the clothes on their backs, they are left to wander. To wonder.

Summary
Professional thief Edward Teach is tired of hole in the wall apartments, shitty pub food, and skipping town every few months to keep the cops off their tail. He’s well past the age he meant to flee the country and retire, and all he needs is One Last Job to set him up for life. When he hears that some rich bastard outside of town has just the sort of treasure he’d trade his good knee for, Ed sets out in disguise to get the lay of the land.
What he gets instead is a case of mistaken identity. Yanked into Stede Bonnet’s multimillion dollar home and greeted with relief instead of fear, Ed suddenly finds himself entrusted with the care of the recently-separated Bonnet’s two children. And he’s not hating it. Not at all.
But there’s still a mysterious treasure to find. There’s still Izzy Hands, breathing down Edward’s neck about finding the money and moving on. And there’s still Stede Bonnet, with his easy smiles and soft, kind voice, and his silly talk of second chances.
The Bonnet house is enormous. It’s no wonder a kid who grew up in dingy squats and group homes would get little lost in it.

He and Genji are all that remains of Blackwatch, and he imagines it will be like the good old days. McCree is completely unprepared for how much Genji has changed and grown since they last worked together. He is equally unprepared for how much he falls in love with the city of Tokyo, as well as how much he falls in love with Genji's elusive brother Hanzo.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it.
But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.
Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.

Izuku was told that because he was quirkless he couldn't be a hero. That didn't stop him from charging into a fight armed with nothing but a backpack and the urge to save someone.
When none of the local heroes would help a newcomer suddenly did and Izuku found himself the focus of someone who actually cared.
Now with a mentor who cares about his well being and the promise to make him a hero Izuku will learn and grow in ways that he never expected and maybe find out what really makes someone a hero. -

Jotaro looks up. The sea is flat, the tide low and the waves are weakly splashing onto the shore. He turns around, treading water, staring at the man by the shore. Kakyoin watches as Jotaro bobs with the waves, his gaze soft, but behind his eyes was something akin to fear, dark and gloomy.
Jotaro just wanted to take his hand, and drag him in.
After all, there really was nothing to be afraid of.
(Excuse me if the build up of the story is too boring. It's my first time writing a long fanfic! I'm more used to one shots.)
