Summary
Eijirou always found scars manly.
Heroes had them, no doubt. Scars were manly, badass, a sign of victory and survival. Some permanent, some temporary. They were beautiful flaws, and everyone had one at least. Eijirou always found himself admiring the little scars on people. To the scars along Midoriya’s hands, the dark burn on Todoroki’s face. The lightning-like scars on Kaminari’s arms, the barely noticeable cuts around Sero’s elbows. The areas on Mina’s skin which was dark from her acid, the burnt over patches on Bakugou’s palms, thick from explosions.
Eijirou found it all beautiful, but for some strange reason, he never found his own scars as beautiful as they were on others.
In which Eijirou learns to love his scars, and how they're a part of who he is.

Denki has a quirk accident while training with friends, injuring all of them and himself. He finds himself outcasted by everyone he knows. Recovery and forgiveness are long roads, but Denki doesn't plan on quitting anytime soon.
*** 5/29/2025: I am currently going through and updating some spelling and grammar issues throughout the fic, along with re-wording some things to help with the flow of it. I wrote this fic when I was 17 and in the last two years, my style has changed quite a bit in a way I feel is more comprehensive and I feel like it's time that I edit this. I'm also trying to get back into writing fics and I think this is a good first step. I'm hoping to perfect this as much as possible and make it worthy of the love it's received. He had no idea how long it had been since they'd woken up in this dreadful room, much less how long they had lain in it unconscious. Pathetic scraps of food and water were haphazardly slid to them through a slot at the door at erratic, irregular intervals. If Katsuki wagered a guess, it had to be at least a couple of days since he and Izuku had been drugged and thrown in here.
This was a terrible gap in crucial information. He couldn't properly estimate when backup would arrive and how much longer he had before Izuku snapped.
After their mission goes awry, Katsuki gets locked up in a cell with his hungry vampiric partner, Izuku. He comes to find that his feelings for the vampire extend beyond friendship.
