Summary
Time seemed to come to a stop as the sword began to fall, and before he could even think, Tommy felt himself push forward. At that moment nothing mattered more than getting to Wilbur. Because no matter what, that was his big brother, and despite what Techno said, the boy knew he cared for Wilbur as well. Once the bloodlust had faded, it would be unbearable for him. He didn't deserve to have his brother's blood on his hands, no matter how sour and broken their feelings towards each other were.
But Tommy, Tommy was expendable. It wouldn't matter if it was him; Techno had already tried to kill him before, he would be doing them a favor. And maybe they would be upset for a while, but they would get over it quickly. They could be happy. With Tommy gone it would finally be perfect. Because they all knew he was the loose thread, the one that didn't belong, that did nothing but cause problems and grief for his family. Well, they weren't his family anymore, maybe they never were, but the sentiment was the same.

“My gold.” Techno spoke, thousands of voices echoing in his words. Whispering and chattering. His calloused hand reaching up, dragging along the blood that was dripping from Tommy’s neck. Dripping down and burning away in the flames consuming the roots that held him.
The same hand that had fed him and given him shelter, as involuntary as it had been, was gently placed at the back of his skull. Techno’s thumb pulling across the golden earring that now felt like an anchor dragging him below the surface of a pool of magma.
Wearing Techno’s face, the Blood God grinned at him.
Tommy did not regret punching him.

It didn’t take long for the heavy thumbing of large paws on the ground to reach the pup’s ears, and whoever it was crashed through the underbrush like a fucking bear.
There was a deafening growl, one that shook Tommy to the bone.
A blur of reds and mahogany streaked passed him, but the figure only paused for a moment before he rounded on the golden wolf. Tommy had barely managed to dodge Techno’s first lunge. There was no way he’d be able to do it again.
Or, Tommy is a werewolf pup that moves to a new town and unfortunately catches the eyes of the werewolf pack that runs it.

Stan was a grumpy old man with a sense of humor that made Mabel like him immediately, and Ford seemed to be a more level headed intellectual with six fingers who disappeared to tend to his “research” more often then not. So far they both seemed fine. Stan was a little annoying but he could deal with it and Ford. Dipper wasn’t afraid to admit that he thought Ford was cool and he wanted to get to know him.
Then there was their Uncle Bill, Fords husband.
He didn’t know HOW to feel about Bill, who despite having white roots in his black and yellow hair and wrinkles around the corners of his mouth had insisted he wasn’t old enough to be a Great Uncle with a unnerving grin. He’d been observing him for a while, his weird behaviors and mannerisms. He’d once watched him pour Pitt Cola into his eye for fun, only to be chastised by Great Uncle Ford. He was convinced he wasn’t human.
He’d shared his theories with Mabel but she’d scoffed and told him to stop ruining their summer with his crazy conspiracies. She was more focused on the idea of a summer romance, while he was subtly taking notes on his so called “Uncle.”

The villain looked with such concern and courtesy, as some time ago in the city. Tommy put on a smile at the praise and deciphered his task.
Distract everyone while Philza does his business like robberies and undermining the heroic system.
"Uh, well, that sounds cool," the boy shrugged. "And what will I get for it?"
"Home. Money that you have the right to dispose of as you please. Delicious food every day. A rich, luxurious life. Agree?"
Tommy bit his lip and looked down. Risky. Very, very risky.
Tommy is pleased that after his death he got into a novel he read once. In the end, he is a background character at most, and the whole drama of the plot certainly does not concern him.
But one day Philza Craft, the main antagonist of the story, comes and declares him his son.
