MODERN!AU Twelve years after his father was imprisoned, Zuko didn't think he'd ever need to worry about him again. Sadly, the justice system is a joke, Ozai is walking free, and Zuko needs a bodyguard, preferably one who doesn't look like a bodyguard.
Luckily, this Aang dude doesn't look like a bodyguard at all.
Basically, the Aang is Zuko's bodyguard AU nobody asked for, but I wrote anyway.

Summary
Kyoshi, a therapist at Ember Institute, recieves a rather unique patient. An air nomad kid a few years post-genocides, admitted due to a seemingly random suicide attempt. Now it's her job, along with Yangchen and some others, to get this kid who's six feet deep in denial to actually face his trauma.
Basically a fic where Aang gets sent to a mental hospital and is forced to recieve therapy. Featuring Kyoshi and Yangchen as therapists, Kuruk as a nosy custodian, Roku as the manager of the place, Azula as Aang's roomate, and the gaang trying their best.

Summary
Aang has been alive for a long time. Only conscious for 21 years of it, but still. He's been around the world, seen so many things wonderful, huge and extraordinary. Yet all pale in comparison to the moment he sees Zuko asleep in sunlight for the first time, soft and glinting with scars of gold. Despite what the monks taught him, he can't help but see them as beautiful, see him as beautiful, with the Kintsugi written all over his body, but he sees how Zuko will hide the rivers of Gold if he can. What he doesn't know, is why.

He hadn’t exactly been the best person initially and even though he was trying very hard to change, old habits died hard. But Aang has been keeping things from him lately, and Zuko finds it rather hard to believe that they were innocent secrets.

Summary
