THIS FIC IS ACTIVELY BEING WORKED ON.
"Your Soul Will Live On" is a Deltarune fanfic with a simple premise.
"What would actually happen if a real person was trapped within Deltarune?" with all of the philosophical, ethical, and weird science-y questions that come with it.
The story itself is both an adaptation of Deltarune's stories, themes, characters, locations, and more, into a different medium, but also an examination of what it would be like if the SOUL, who is already its own character in the story of Deltarune, was truly a real, thinking person, with their own thoughts and feelings and decisions, independent from what can be done within the game.
Warning: As the story progresses, it will cover darker topics, such as death, body horror, and suicide. If these are things you are uncomfortable reading about, please click away.

Mirabelle and her team of mismatched saviours finally make it through the House. After a long journey it all comes down to this, she will enter the room and defeat the King. She will free all of Vaugarde from his hold. She does not yet know that there is another behind this door and she stands no chance against them. Luckily, she has been granted the ability to try again and again... and again.
Or: I played TDQM and then the brain worms were worming.
TLDR: Everyone loops. (not technically but that will be explained) Siffrin, the unwilling villain, knows how to play their role. No need to know TDQM but do go and play that it was good.
PLEASE READ THE NOTES FOR THE TWS (Chapter count will stay at 1/? as I might add post cannon to this later but its a complete story on its own)

Siffrin is told that he has no way out of the loops.
He does not take kindly to that proposition.
Finally deciding to work with his party, he develops a new approach to escape- constant experimentation with the nature of wishcraft and the loops itself, in order to cheat the universe and escape through loopholes and technicalities.
Sure, he's being petty, but the universe has tortured them WELL enough.
