Dick… is aware. He’s aware that he’s not doing well. He’s aware that Tim isn’t doing well. Hell, he’s aware that Alfred isn’t doing well.
What with Bruce being… well…
He’s aware.
But, as he stares at his little brother telling him that Bruce is alive, he can’t help but feel anything but relief. In fact, he feels a lot of bad feelings about it, and then very quickly adds guilt to those bad feelings since he can’t think of anything positive to say.
Because he’s aware that he’s not well. And that Tim isn’t well. And that Alfred isn’t well.
But they weren’t well before Bruce died, either.

Summary
In a world where Jason Todd survives Ethiopia, Tim Drake still finds a way to help Batman by surveilling Gotham rogues and anonymously informing to the Bats and Oracle. It's a delicate balance, to help the world's greatest detective without drawing too much of his attention, but Tim can't risk Batman discovering his parents' very illegal collection of ancient artifacts.
At least, until his parents begin behaving strangely and Tim's investigation finds him at the center of a plot that threatens the entire city. The only way to save Gotham is for Tim to reach Batman, but doing so means losing everything he knows.

Tim is almost-finally training to be Robin, kind of. (Emphasis on the “almost”). (Emphasis on the “kind of”).
He’s been sparring with the Hood, Gotham’s newest vigilante, but Hood doesn’t know Tim as Tim, he knows Tim as Jason, but Tim knows that Hood is actually Jason, and honestly, Tim’s just writing the rules up as he goes.
And the stakes are only getting higher. After tragedy strikes the Drakes, Tim ends up in Bruce’s care just as a new series of gruesome crimes plagues Gotham. More than ever, Bruce is determined to keep Tim out of it.
Tim does not keep out of it. (And there are consequences to starting fights you don’t know how to win).

Really, it was supposed to be the perfect place to hide out for the night. With an Arkham breakout going on and him already nursing injuries it wasn't like he would be out and about anyway, and it wasn't like Dick ever used this particular safehouse so there was little chance Nightwing would run across the still unknown but dangerous Red Hood. Honestly, Jason was somewhat impressed he still had it, and that the spare key was right where Dick had promised a young robin he didn't even like.
He was less impressed to find out that he was wrong, and that Dick did still use this safehouse. He was even less impressed to find out that the safehouse was more to hide from his family and friends.
