Summary
Jason had just wanted to see his autopsy report, he had only wanted to know what information Bruce had about his death. And when Bruce hadn't given it to him, he had stolen it. He hadn’t meant to stumble upon the bucket list of a dead child and the footage of a grieving father crossing one item after another off the list.

Summary
Jason doesn't move from Bruce's side until the man opens his eyes seven hours later. He did it once before, but was fast asleep before anyone could say anything. This time, Jason watches his fingers twitch, then as a grimace stretches across his face.
Finally, dazed and scared, Bruce blinks up at him, “Jay?”
Jason holds onto his hand, and squeezes, “Yeah. I'm here.”
(Bruce returns from the kind-of dead and Jason takes it upon himself to pick up the pieces.)

Summary
"I kill so others don't have to," Bruce states firmly and clearly. This entire situation didn't seem like it could get any more bizarre, what with Bruce sitting in the dark and polishing guns, but somehow it just has, "While you are here you will not kill."
Jason's throat is scratchy and dry with terror, but the insatiable feeling of being talked over and disregarded is a fresh wound. He can't back down from this if he tried, "I've killed. I still kill. Who the fuck do you think you are to stop me?"
Bruce gently sets down his gun, and picks up the blade beside him with practised ease. Jason's blood runs cold when the man wearing his father's face says, "You will die by my hand if you try."
(Jason meets a version of Bruce who has manifested his fears very differently.)

Summary
That was the thing – Jason always had a way of making Bruce laugh, even at the worst of times. Hell, the first time they met, Jason had made Bruce laugh in the middle of Crime Alley on the anniversary of his parents’ death, which had been a feat unto itself. It was what gave lightness to his Robin, to the dark of Batman. Of course it would follow that his writing would be an unceasing source of joy to Bruce.

Draco Malfoy is not an owl, really he isn’t. He simply assumes the shape of one on occasion when he wants to find a bit of privacy—a goal entirely thwarted because Harry Potter doesn’t understand you can’t just grab any old bird from the Owlery and force it to send your missives and deliver your packages.

Summary
“What do you want, my son?” Talia asked him. “What do you truly want?”
And when Jason pushed aside his obsession with Bruce, the answer was so clear. He knew exactly what he wanted. He knew what he’d always wanted, ever since he was that little street rat who spent money he needed for food on making himself look clean. Because he’d needed to look clean and presentable to get into the public libraries. Because they wouldn’t have let a dirty homeless kid touch the books.
“I want to go to college.”
And Talia had made that happen for him.
(AU where, at the end of his League of Assassins training, Jason decides to go to Metropolis for college instead of going back to Gotham for revenge. Things spiral from there. The title is so sarcastic by the way. There’s nothing regular about Jason Todd.)

Summary
When an Outlaws mission gets Jason sent back twelve years in the past, he finds himself in a familiar position: stealing something stupid and getting caught by a Batman who wants to give him a second chance.
It’s a refreshing change from how encounters with his present-day Batman usually go.

Summary
Bruce was…small. His tailored suit draped over his diminished stature like a blanket and made him look so terribly tiny and fragile, like the slightest wind could blow him over.
For a moment, Tim stood stockstill, unsure what to do because his father - his larger than life father - had turned into a child.
Bruce is de-aged back to the night his parents were shot. He doesn't remember the Bats but he knows they're family. Bonding ensues.

It's the fifth anniversary of Jason Todd's death
Today is the fifth anniversary of the day that Jason Todd and Sheila Haywood were murdered, so I thought I would post a write-up unifying all of the information that we have on the case. There have been a lot of posts about Jason over the years, but this case is so weird and has so many branches to it, I don’t think that anyone’s ever compiled all of them in one place.

Hood builds an unusual family post-Pit. The Bats are just as confused by the Merrys as the Merrys are of the Bats. Are they all fighting over custody of a crime lord? No, of course not. That would be ridiculous.

There was a familiar click-hiss, and Red Hood pulled his helmet off.

“My actual brother,” Boss drawled, then, to the fake Red Hood, “Your hair stripe is coming out.”

Summary
The rambling cuts off abruptly, stony silence ringing from the other end of the line, but Jason knows Bruce is listening. Listening and running through several calculations on how someone— and who— could have gotten this number, while simultaneously tracking the call signal.
This is gonna be fucking gold.
Time to sell it.
“Dad,” he sobs, pitching his voice until it breaks, teeth chattering exaggeratedly, “Dad, please, I’m scared, I-“ Jason cuts himself off with a scream and another series of sobs, “Please, I can’t— it’s locked! Please, no, Dad, it’s locked—“
OR
Jason's need for drama successfully derails his plans for vengeance “Red Hood“ style
