Summary
In order to maintain control over the Horde after the mak'gora, Sylvanas was cornered into a ceasefire with the Alliance and a political union with the only woman capable of matching her in combat — Jaina, who has a stubborn need to know what is occurring at all times.
Tyrande and Greymane have no interest in honoring the peace treaty. Their vendetta against Sylvanas and the Horde as a whole will not be satiated by anything less than smoke and blood spent for all that was taken from them — even if that places Jaina in harm's way.

Summary
Peace blindsides the nations of Azeroth when a contrite Sylvanas sues for cessation of hostilities after the atrocity of Teldrassil. Lacking any other choice that wouldn't result in unthinkable casualties, the Alliance accepts, leaving the Kal'dorei shocked and wounded, but none so much as Tyrande Whisperwind. With war at an end, her presence as the Night Warrior has become a liability, and with no outlet that wouldn't see every race in the world turn against her battered people, the violence-maddened alpha vanishes into the wilds to sate her violent urges on corrupted wildlife. It's during one of these excursions, that Tyrande comes across another soul left bereft of purpose at the end of a war.

Legends say that if you free a dragon from its petricite bonds, it will reward you with a visit to its hoard of treasures. Curious to know whether the legends have merit, Jinx travels to Demacia and frees a dragon named Lux.
However, there’s a caveat to the legend which Jinx forgot to consider…

Summary
It’s a nightmare to be gay in Demacia. Lux knows it very well. She has always had to hide her sexuality, lest she be taken by the Illuminators to undergo a painful and terrifying conversion therapy. It doesn’t help that almost every Demacian believes that such ‘transgressions’ should be punished by death.
So Lux has learned to hide, to remain silent, to watch as her homeland swallows up innocent lives in its ceaseless devotion to force everyone to adhere to the Norm.
Everything changes when a new transfer student to the University of Demacia comes out right in the middle of class.

Baine doesn’t trust her.
The Dreadlord holds to much sway over their newest Warchief. He hardly ever sees them apart besides when it is absolutely necessary. She whispers things into Sylvana’s ear, commanding positions far above her post, ordering the rest of them around like common soldiers. The others chalk it up to his bruised ego when the Warchief placed the Fel Mage in charge of their forces against the Legion rather than Baine himself.
The others don’t see the way Sylvanas has changed.
