Red for anger, Yellow for happiness, Green for envy(or jealousy), Blue for sadness, Dark red for fear, White for shock, Dark Blue for pain, Dark Gray for loneliness, Light Gray is considered to be for neutrality, or the lack of any prevalent emotions.
When someone meets their soulmate, their ring-like mark turns a light pink, but if their soulmate is to die, the mark turns black before vanishing completely.Series

Summary
It was a simple school field trip to Stark Industries Tower (also known as the home of the Avengers, not to be confused with the workplace of the Avengers, that’s different). Sure it’s to what is basically Peter’s second home but in Manhattan, but still. It should be fine. I mean, how much trouble can a field trip really cause?
It’s incredible, the butterfly effect. For example, a school trip to SI. Nothing note, you would say, that happens a lot. Oh, but this trip is the butterfly that triggers all the events of this tale. Watch, as a lowly field trip creates the baseline for events that prove the lovely line of “blood of the covenant is thicker than water of the womb”, also known as “family isn’t always blood”. And for that family, blood will be shed.
Construction: currently on hiatus for mental health, am building up buffer chapters so hopefully I'll be back soon but until then I'm slowly editing past chapters and marking them with a 'EDIT' in the author note (I wrote most of this over a year ago if you can believe it!)

Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.
And that’s when things get complicated.
