Summary
Brooklyn, 1946. Two men profoundly changed by the war cross paths. One's lost his will to fight, robbed by rejection and the loss of his best guy. The other's spoiling for a new battle with the country that still seems to think he's three-fifths of a person. In each other, they find an ally...and maybe something more.

Summary
Merlin looked up at the overcast sky and sighed. He lived in a world that was at once a place of unparalleled, sparkling beauty and a noxious, foul, suffocating cage. Three months already.
‘Hope my old man’s eating properly.’ He thought.
It seemed just the other day he had gone into the woods to gather herbs, where he had met three kidnappers; let us call them Villagers One, Two, and Three. They were after servsnts for the royal palace, and in a word, they offered the world’s most forceful and unpleasant employment.
Now, it wasn’t that he wouldn’t be paid, and with a couple years’ work, there was that glimmer of hope that he might even be able to come back to his hometown. There were worse ways to earn a living—if one went to the royal city of one’s own volition.
But Merlin, who was making his way just fine as an apothecary, thank you very much, saw it solely trouble.Or: An apothecary diaries and Merlin crossover au

Summary
Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.
And that’s when things get complicated.

Summary
When Natasha went down to the holding cell on Helicarrier amidst an alien attack, she expected to find a looming, dangerous god, not a man in the middle of a mental breakdown.
Due to popular demand (by which I mean like two people asking about that in the comments), this is no longer a one-shot.
