Jayce had never been more comfortably warm in his bed, and the fact that his alarm had yet to sound but somehow he was awake made him even more determined to enjoy the sensation. He’d always ran too hot, the fire of the forge burnt strong in him his Papa had teased, but for some reason the heat was pleasant, even with the duvet managing to stay in position the whole night. As sensations slowly began to wake up, he scoffed when he realised that again he’d ended up hugging the pillow in his sleep, and tried to ignore the little voice in the back of his head that reminded him of how long it’d been since he’d gotten laid.
To his horror, the pillow shifted in his arms and he threw himself back, crashing into the cold wall behind him. When his vision finally settled, he nearly pinched himself at the sight.

How did Jayce wind up in the aqueduct that overlooks the undercity? Wasn't he just trying to destroy the Hexcore? After losing Viktor in the terrorist attack that also destroyed the council room, Jayce is just a shell of his former self. Unable to handle the death of his partner he plans to destroy the Hexcore along with himself. When the Hexcore erupts he's engulfed in white light, only to end up in the aqueduct. Where he runs into Viktor! Alive, younger and far more intimate - Jayce must juggle his feelings of grief and desire all while he tries to figure out where and why he is.

Don't you wish for it, too?” Viktor let himself look at Jayce, his stubble and his face littered in marks of careless experiments. He gets the urge of cupping Jayce's face in his hands, and the most ridiculous idea of proposing, right there and then. Be damned his reputation and social standing and the fact that Jayce will absolutely reject him right away. It's you, Viktor thinks desperately, I want it to be you.
“You can't have everything in life,” Viktor states simply and resumes his walking. Jayce keeps to his side, silent for a while before he speaks again.
“I will help you,” he exclaims. Viktor looks at him confused.
“With what, exactly?” Viktor inquiries.
“With finding you a spouse, of course,” Jayce's smile is bright and assured. Like it's the best idea he's ever had.

Viktor has to marry, and Jayce is determined to help him find love, it should be easy, right? However, it is a shame that none of the suitors are good enough for him, or that half of them think that Viktor's engaged already- to Jayce.
Very loosely based on Season 3 of Bridgerton.

Summary
It's March, and Viktor knows he doesn't have long left to live. His friends only know that his health isn't great, but not that he's dying. How could he tell them? What could he possibly say to Jayce? No, better to just keep quiet.
Then the unthinkable happens: Ambessa Medarda, for reasons of her own, offers to fund state-of-the-art surgery for him, and suddenly the preciousness of hope dangles enticingly in front of him.
“Viktor?” Jayce’s one word question actually means: excuse me? What? Que? Please explain your outlandish comment?
“I need some time off. Just for a bit. Probably. Then I will be back. Also probably.”
“Probably?” What does that mean? ‘Probably’? That sounds incredibly suspicious. “I need more information.”
What Viktor says next, and in the same tone he uses for what coffee do you want? knocks Jayce for six.
“I am having possibly life-saving surgery, and then I need time to recover.”
Jayce doesn’t so much sit down, as fall backwards. Fortunately his desk is right behind him, otherwise Jayce would be but a sad flesh puddle on the floor. He runs that bewildering sentence back through his mind, trying to sift out the meaning.

Summary
Jayce Talis represses the "ugly" parts of him after a series of relationships gone awry. He pushes the control, the jealousy, the excessive determination, the ownership and all the other apparently gross qualities of himself down and keeps them locked away in order to put that energy into work, school, and life, neglecting his romantic desires and sex life for years. He feels okay, stable, able to control himself and the more vivid parts of him. Until he meets Viktor. And until Viktor pops a rather unusual question that allows Jayce's monsters to rear their ugly heads.

A real Santa, he reasons, could do anything,, even bring Jayce's destined true love to him.
But perhaps young Jayce's heartbreak is premature, and perhaps Santa's Workshop is even weirder and more wonderful than Jayce could know. Twenty years later, he wakes up Christmas morning to find a man in his mother's kitchen who claims to be his boyfriend wish come true. Viktor was, he explains to Jayce, literally created to be Jayce's soulmate.
Which, Jayce realizes, means that Viktor had no choice in the matter.

With his dream of harnessing magic shattered, Jayce barely manages to escape banishment by joining the ranks of knighthood. To prove himself to the royal guard, he is given the task to protect Piltover's crown prince. At first glance, this does not seem like the kind of quest to give Jayce his honour back - Viktor is strange, yes, but he has absolutely no interest in participating in the ruthless, backstabbing game of politics, and as such he doesn't pose a threat to the power hungry nobles of Piltover and beyond. But Jayce soon notices that at court not all is how it seems, and that if he wants to protect the prince, he'll have to be ready to give everything, even his life and worse, his honour.
Or: Jayce is a knight, Viktor is a prince. I'm sure you know where this is going.
