It was routine at this point, something would go wrong, there would be a moment of overwhelming fear, an instant of unbearable pain, and then you were here. And it was fine. No injuries. No scars. No reason to be upset. It was fine.
This time it wasn’t.
In short, you cry in front of Sebastian and he comforts you.

“I told Innovation that they’ll need to pick us up sometime between 10:50 and 11," Sebastian explains. "But they won’t send anyone down unless we get Urbanshade off the crystal first.”
At first, to Painter, that sounds like an impossible feat. Urbanshade’s hard to deter; they wouldn't go down without a fight. Yet, they trust Sebastian– they know his intelligence and what he’s capable of. If anyone can sabotage that company, it’s him.
“Then… what do we do?” Their face shifts to the top of their screen as if staring up at him.
Sebastian clasps his two frontmost hands together, a sly grin overtaking him. "We take it ourselves.”
Merely two days after the Hadal Blacksite first spirals into lockdown, Sebastian manages to secure an escape route for both himself and Painter. With all other options exhausted and Urbanshade closing in fast, all he can do is hope Innovation keeps their word.

So, despite the unimaginable circumstances, you seek to change that. To stray from the script.And you know, to avoid getting murked by Sebastian at every little inconvenience.

Summary
Congrats! After multiple, i mean mullltiple attempts to secure the crystal and escape this hell hole that is called the Blacksite, you were able to finally fulfill that goal! Urbanshade keeps their end of the bargain and give you plane tickets, put a LOOTTT of money into your bank account, and clearing your name with saying it was just false imprisonment. Now out into the world again, you were able to use the money to start over. A few months into your life (you thankfully live alone and conveniently live a bit away from your neighbors), you can't help but wonder whatever happened to that fish man along with that murderous AI. You may never know, though, but one day it was finally answered... in your kitchen one night.

Gaze turned up, she sees the file folder in hand, the male before her clad in dark gray covered by black armor. Gaze neutral turns as a frown makes it's way onto his face, trapped by her accusatory eyes evident suspicion growing. Finally the man speaks but not the words she wishes to hear.
