Summary

Summary
She thought she’d gotten off easy when Sabine had stared at her holding up the handlebars that were the last, pitiful remains of the jumpbike Ketsu had borrowed and instead of exploding like she would have back in the old days, she’d shaken her head, smiled, and said, “I’m just glad you’re okay.”
It was a trap. Ketsu knows this now. This is Sabine’s real punishment.
Ketsu is a warrior. She breaks things, or builds things that break other things. Or people. She can disassemble and reassemble a blaster pistol blind-folded or make a homemade det-charge out of scrap. Her knowledge of how things work goes exactly as far as she needs to be able to destroy them more effectively.
But fixing something that’s broken? Rebuilding it from scratch?
Ketsu’s not used to being out of her depth.

Summary
Danielle started calling them ‘Danny Thoughts.’ Little leftovers of inherited memories caught in the green goop that made up half of her. Sometimes it was little things: a smell, a song, a brief moment of recall. Other times it was more intense, like a memory. A powerful feeling of deja vu. Did it even count as deja vu if she technically never experienced it before?
All she knew was that she needed to be gone, the farther away from Danny the better. Didn’t matter where, so long as it was away from his face, his voice, home, his friends, his town, his life. So she picked a direction and flew. When she couldn't fly anymore, she walked.
And kept walking.

“I’m not-” Norman stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and looked around for any eavesdroppers, living or otherwise. He hissed defensively into his phone. “It’s not stalking. I’m investigating.”
“It’s worse than I thought,” Neil said somberly. There was the familiar crinkle of a bag of chips in the background. “How many friends have you made since you guys moved in?”
“I’ve made tons of new friends,” Norman said.
“Corporeal friends, Norm.”
“That’s so alive-ist.”

Summary
What should have been a twelve hour drive up north to Gravity Falls had somehow become a two-day trek sightseeing and visiting every lame tourist trap that was circled on an old, faded brochure.
Norman had no idea what kind of ‘family tradition’ involved sabotaging a giant ball of yarn or distributing maps to everyone going into some guy’s corn maze, but he had to admit it was pretty damn fun.
