Summary
Set three years after the conclusion of Impulse, it's summer in Manchester, Alabama once again. Preston Lindsay, now eighteen years old and enjoying his last summer before college begins, finds himself once again reminiscing on the past and on Bart Allen. Three years and there's been no word from his best friend. But one day he reappears and neither Preston or Bart are the same again.
The voice drew him back. It drew him back in time, way waaaaaaaaaay back. Just like Alice finding her way to Wonderland, his mind followed a brown hare down the rabbit hole as he was pulled back to junior high, back to when the sun shined brighter, when each day meant a new adventure with his best friend with his funny quirks and ways. He heard his voice and knew it shouldn’t have been possible. His hand trembled the slightest. His mouth felt dry. He didn’t want to lower his camera and be disappointed that his ears were tricking him. He didn’t want to know that he had just misheard the voice, but he could have sworn he heard him, he heard....“Bart?”

This is a Kon-based Secret Santa Fic for Percy! I hope you like it!

Summary
A short domestic fic surrounding Thad, Match, affectionate nicknames, dish washing, and their relationship.
Water runs from the kitchen sink, dish ware and utensils clink and clatter as they are scrubbed and placed to dry on a nearby dish rack. Thad continues this pattern, slowly, as the evening sun shines in through a nearby window. The whole world seems sleepy, even time seems to be taking longer to pass as gold rays shift to oranges and reds and dusty pinks. He takes things slow because he wants them to last.
The peace, the calm, the distinct lack of urgency…it was so different than his youth.
As he sets the first of the dishes on the rack and grabs for a nearby dish towel he hears Match’s bare footsteps against the tiles and soon enough he feels his solid warmth as he presses up against his back. His arms circle around his waist. His larger body encompasses his own so fully that he’s like a blanket. Match’s lips press against the back of his head, kissing him, and groggily mumbles, “Babe” as he buries his face against his blond hair and holds him close.

Bare limbs splayed from beneath the blanket, sharing in each other’s warmth, Match’s arm wrapped around him, his head pressed to Match’s chest listening to the other’s heart beat strong and solid in his ear as the seconds of the early morning passed them by. They looked like some damnable couple.

A short drabble I had written way back in the day (long before the current Suicide Squad (2021) run and have expanded upon. So Match is partially verbal and uses Bizarro talk (as seen in the Teen Titans v3 comics).
Instead of abandoning Match and Deb during the Titans East debacle Thad escapes with them and the three find refuge in a nondescript apartment. It's focused upon Match and Thad just getting along.
