Verity was my absolute favourite character of the series and I just couldn't get enough of these two. So here is the Fitz & Verity centered fic I always wanted read, but could never find. Where Verity gets his happy ending and finally has enough time to help our boy Fitz deal with his host of PTSD and abandonment issues. SLOOOW paced exploration of Fitz and Verity's relationship. Jason hated that this part of him still existed. That this part of him still held worth in his life. He hated that there will always be some part of him stuck in that asylum, stuck with the joker. So he decided that wasn’t him. That was robin. That was this stupid child standing in front of him, preventing him from just killing Dick and Tim. That was not Jason. It never will be again.
