Raphinha saw that the seat next to Fermin was empty so he took the chance to sit beside him, he always did that whenever the seat was not occupied by Fermin's best friend, Gavi.
But Fermin knew his captain loved sitting by the window, so he stood up before Rapha sitting down and made him sit there. Raphinha looked at him and smiled, then instead of saying thanks he ruffled his hair hard.

Summary
Mob has to read it again, and again, not quite sure if his eyes are playing tricks on him. But the words stay there on the page, unmoving, and the paper stays soft and real and crisp under his fingers.
“You’ve got to be kidding, now I think I’ve really seen it all. A ransom note for Reigen?” Dimple says from above his shoulder, incredulously, “Do they want cash or something? Who would pay money for his bony ass?”
“Shut up, Dimple.”

Summary
He doesn't have it in him to panic at the unfamiliar surroundings, a hand coming up to scratch at his chest. He burrows himself back into his blanket, eyelids already drooping.
It's lighter in the room when he wakes up again. A groan reaches his lips, startling him when it escapes the confines of his throat.
He moves to shift his leg, but a (familiar?) weight bars him from doing so. He lifts his head just enough to blink past blurry vision and see another man laying at the foot of his bunk, his lower body hung off the edge as he snores silently.
See, this is the part where he panics.

Summary
John Marston is ambushed by the Pinkertons and dies in 1911 after hunting down all his old gang members, not getting to finish the happy life with his family. Why then does he wake up in 1899 on Colter with Javier and Arthur rescuing him?
It seems fate, or a more malevolent force, has given John a second chance and now he has to live among his familial ghosts as he figures out how he can fix it this time. But, people are getting concerned by his new behaviour- what's there to expect from a 39 year mind in a 26 year old body? Or more importantly, what's there to expect from a hardened man forced to live next to everybody who betrayed him?
THIS IS JUST MY EXCUSE TO WRITE RDR 1 JOHN MARSTON, THE LOML. I wish the Van der Linde gang could have seen what a fucking force of nature he became- both as a mature man but also the fastest gunslinger in the west. Took down the rebellion in Mexico and all of Micah's gang in the mountains without batting an eye: he deserves MORE CREDIT.
I'm not sure where I'm going to go with this because it's been a while since I've played either game but I hate mischaracterising Marston. If anybody has any advice, let me know.

Katsuo Yumishi was dead, and if it weren’t for all the years he’d written down already, perhaps he’d be wondering what he could’ve done differently. That maybe if he’d dissuaded Yumishi from showing up at his doorstep with a toddler in his arms, a ticking clock in his left eye, and a stilled one in the other, he wouldn’t have to know that the guy was only 19 when he’d died.
He wouldn’t have to remember that he’d met Yumishi when the kid was 8. He wouldn’t have to think that in the present year of 1909, Yumishi would’ve been 21, the little girl in his arms probably 15, now.
But when he’d gone to bed, he told himself that nothing would’ve reversed Yumishi’s death, and he was able to catch at least a little sleep that night.
