The conversation falls a bit stilted from there, as Luca looks around the room with a gaze that feels familiar, that Edgar recognizes the sensation of, while the other mixes more paint and muddles the pure colours more and more to avoid confronting the person in his room. Edgar’s thoughts take two paths: I miss the feeling of him sitting on my bed, watching me, except I would be wearing a few less clothes and he would be a little less abrasive and I hope he doesn’t get any blood on my bed.
These visits always ricochet and end in thoughts like that.
