He twists around, already grinning warmly upon witnessing Suguru’s soft pout and the thick curls of his hair lusciously cascading down his shoulders. In his hand, he’s holding out a bottle of black nail polish and what seems to be clear polish for the top coat.
“The girls got tired after doing one of my hands,” Suguru exhales a soft laugh, fond eyes crinkling in amusement as he displays the sloppy work the twins have done on his left hand. Black nail polish is splashed around the nail and has somehow even made it onto Suguru’s cheek.

Summary
Chuuya meets Dazai at a party celebrating Mori Ougai’s ascension as master of the city, a move which every vampire in attendance is very politely pretending didn’t require the murder of the previous master in cold blood. One second Chuuya is tucked into a corner nursing a glass of AB positive and carefully avoiding eye contact with anyone else at the party, the next a human teenager is scaring his undead heart almost to beating again.
“You’re not like the other ones,” says Dazai.
“What the fuck?” Chuuya replies.
In which Nakahara Chuuya, a 97-year-old vampire, meets Dazai Osamu, a 14-year-old human, and their lives become irrevocably intertwined.

Zuko’s head jerks up to see Azula on his doorstep, leaning against the doorframe while inspecting her nails in an obvious attempt to come off as unbothered. Or maybe she genuinely doesn’t care. Zuko can rarely tell.
He puts down his book and sits up on his bed, giving his sister his full attention, knowing very well that she won’t leave until she’s done taunting him.
”What do you mean?” he says, not really registering the words that have come out of Azula’s mouth until now. Azula is always taunting him about something. Usually it’s inconsequential, her dangling something over his head because she can, because she’s the favorite, because she’s perfect and Zuko’s not.
”I heard him talk about it with one of his advisors,” she says. ”Apparently emissary Liang is there negotiating the terms as we speak.”
”You’re lying,” he says, narrowing his good eye at her.

Summary
The attack on the Northern Water Tribe goes differently, Aang and the ocean spirit don’t destroy the entire Fire Nation fleet, only most of them.
Zhao escapes, taking Sokka and a few other Water Tribe men as prisoners. Knowing Sokka is traveling with the Avatar he gets sent to Zhao’s “special prison camp” that is hidden near the Earth Kingdom colonies.
Sokka gets a taste of the real war, not the war that he thinks he knows from traveling with the Avatar. While Zhao’s prisoner, he struggles to survive the inhuman conditions. Alone and thought to be dead, he feels himself slowly losing hope.
Seeing a familiar face brings back his hope, even if that face is the scarred Prince of the Fire Nation.
Sokka and Zuko come together to survive and end up depending on each other for a lot more than they ever thought possible.

He cut off as Shiro touched his cheek, fingertips skimming along his scar, the action enough to paralyze him into silence. Keith’s scar wasn’t sensitive exactly, but the skin around it acted like it needed to compensate for that. Keith usually couldn’t even tolerate his own hand. But Shiro’s fingers were careful, reverent almost, tracing the edges and then covering it with his thumb.
It was then that Keith knew that this couldn’t be any version of the Shiro Keith knew. That Shiro wouldn’t even look at his scar, gaze deliberately repelled from it, hadn’t even commented on it—so much so that Keith at first thought he was crazy, that it was only a mark he himself could see.
