Zuko had no idea how his life ended up so backwards.
“Come on, Zuko.” The Water Tribe boy coaxed. “Think of it this way. You’ll be closer to the Avatar.” The shackles in his hands were the type that locked as soon as they closed around someone’s wrist.
“We’ll take you to the theatre!” The Avatar added chipperly. “I bet we can find one playing Love Amongst the Dragons!” His offer might have been more believable if he weren’t holding a metal net that was used by Earth Kingdom soldiers to capture firebenders.
“I bought chili powder on our last trip to the market.” The waterbender added. “You can add it to any dish you want. We won’t even judge you for it.” Her hands were empty but after the ice cage incident Zuko knew that she was as big a threat as the other two.Zuko don’t know why the Avatar and his friends suddenly decided to capture him. Iroh is rethinking his stance on the Avatar. The Wani crew can’t decide if they are amused or furious. And the Gaang just wants to reestablish the friendship that they lost when a spirit stole Zuko’s memories.

Summary
The next lyric Sokka fully heard, unfortunately for his sanity, was “Cause all you wanna do / All you wanna do, baby / Is touch me, love me, can't get enough, see,” while he was still resolutely staring out the window. But on the lyric “Run your fingers through my hair” Zuko put his fingers in Sokka’s hair and--and holy shit--Sokka was definitely not thinking about his friend platonically.
Zuko sings "All You Wanna Do" from Six while sitting on Sokka's lap and Sokka finally realizes that the feelings he's been having for his friend have been anything but platonic.

Combustion Man never finds the Western Air Temple, and the Gaang goes ahead with the plan to capture Zuko and hold him prisoner so he can’t hurt anyone. Now Zuko has to convince them he’s on their side without having any proof he doesn’t want the Avatar dead anymore, and preferably before Katara decides to kill him.
… If only he weren’t so bad at being good.

Summary
Katara watches, horrified, as Sokka pulls his sword out of his scabbard and points it at his fiancé. Zuko, having clambered to the other side of the large table, looks stunned. His golden eyes dart between the sword and Sokka’s face. Katara knows he doesn’t see anything more than a blank expression; the same one she had seen on Jet’s face over a decade before. “Sokka, what are you doing?” the Fire Lord rasps.
Sokka’s voice is robotic and so unlike her brother that it makes Katara want to cry. “You are a disgrace of a Fire Lord. I will claim your life for the Resistance.”

“Come on, Sparky, it’s my birthday!” Toph had her hands on the Fire Lord’s wrists and was trying to manipulate his arms into dancing movements. Zuko looked like a flustered puppet. Sokka laughed, earning himself a half-hearted glare.
“Yeah, come on, Zuko,” Sokka joined in. “It’s not every day an earthbending master turns twenty!”
Katara and Aang looked over in surprise when Zuko responded. “Fine, I’ll dance with you.” Toph looked considerably triumphant, but her face fell into a scowl when the Fire Lord continued. “But you have to dance my way.”

"So what's the deal with your face?"
"Ex–excuse me?" Zuko spluttered at her bluntness. He should've expected it, honestly. Toph didn't exactly beat around the bush.
"Your face. Your scar, I assume," Toph explained. "You keep almost touching it. I've felt you do it easily a dozen times since you joined us. This time was the most obvious, though. So what's up with it?"
Zuko almost laughed. His breath hitched a little, but the sound that came out wasn't a laugh. He felt like he was choking.

That's not what Chief Hakoda sees when he fishes a sickly thirteen-year-old Fire Prince out of the ocean. Then the boy knocks out his guard and forces Hakoda to chase him up the main mast to stop him from setting the ship on fire, and Prince Zuko proves exactly how much of a monster he is.
Which isn't actually that much. Volume-wise.

Summary
His clothes are way too big. He’s been kidnapped by a monk, but somehow the fact that he’s tripping over his tunic and boots is the more troubling part. The monk, who introduced himself as Aang, seems harmless for the most part. The monk is carrying a set of swords, but he’s carrying them wrong. Zuko has only been studying under Master Piandao for a year now, and he hasn’t been allowed to touch a sword in that time, but he knows that much at least. They’ve been walking for hours. The area isn’t remotely familiar to him, which is the only reason he hasn’t taken off yet. That and the monk is strangely quick on his feet. At least he’s a chatterbox. When Zuko does decide to make his escape, he’ll probably be able to hear the boy coming a mile off. He’s only six, but Mother and Father had told him this day might come, and what exactly to do when he was kidnapped.
