He closed his eyes and drew in one last deep breath, not one fighting through the tears and the terror and the pain, but one, proper, final, deep breath.
He drew the dagger back, and then brought it forward.

“I’ve killed people. Not just one or two, although, that would also be terrible, but, like, over forty people. And a lot of them- all of them, were innocents. They didn’t deserve to die, but I was too selfish to understand that. I should have been the one to die, instead of any of them. Instead of anyone! I’m a horrible person, Scar, and I completely understand if you want me to leave right now and never come back! No, what am I kidding? You probably think I should die for my actions! Oh, Watchers, Scar, I’m so sorry for lying to you. I’m a monster, Scar, a heartless monster! I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry, I’m so-“
Scar’s giggle cut through Grian’s rant. Grian peeked up at him, and his eyes scrunched in confusion. Scar’s hand covered his mouth in a vain attempt at hiding his expression. Tears were forming in the corner of his eyes. Not tears from the betrayal Grian thought Scar would be feeling, instead, tears of joy. Grian stood there, his brain blanking once again. His jumper sleeves were frayed at this point. Scar clutched his chest, setting his laughter free.
Or Grian tells Scar about his past murders. But turns, murders more common on Hermitcraft than Grian expected.

Grian just got DUMPED. After 6 years with BigB, he doesn't know what to do, so he does what he usually does when he's at an impass; make a new secret identity up and do something stupid, But the moment he becomes a vigilante hero, a VERY gay and VERY annoying theatre-kid-turned-supervillan descends onto Hermit city, declaring war on Grian and his new hero freind, a govornment certified hero known as HotGuy, who little does he know, is his super hot roommate Scar.
Scar just met this bird guy at work and he's already swooning. this is gonna go PERFECTLY because neither of them has any TRAUMA or anything...
Together Hotguy and Cuteguy fight Supervillans and Social Injustice while falling in love, because at the end of the day, they were chasing phantoms, but all they caught were feelings
this fic is comedy gold I can't belive I wrote it. please, do enjoy.

In extravagant fashion, a story taking place over eight months which seemed to stretch out into years - all with mounting war, high fantasy elements, and mysteriously absent tetanus - comes to a close. It's Odyssial, to coin a term. Epic, in the most literary sense. Certainly a story for the ages. Death, bloodshed, violence. Haunting.
In more important matters, BigB has a conversation with Grian.
