    Wei Wuxian has lots all means to go, nothing bounds him to his life anymore. And so, he perishes at the hands of himself.
    But perhaps Heaven has something else in store for him.

    This is a story centered on Wei Wuxian whom is granted a second chance to make things better, to change the drastic future he knows and save the lives of those he had lost. But things are never as easy: he will have to learn to fight two wars at once, for the resentment growing relentlessly within himself won't just let him be.

    “I know that,” Shouta seethes out. “Do you think I don't see that?”

    “Then why are we not doing anything?”

    Shouta understands Hizashi’s frustration because he too would love to do nothing more than snatch the kid up and aggressively care for him until those eyebags are gone and he stops flinching at sharp movements and he puts on the weight he should have at his age and with his training.

    But—

    “He’s not ready. You see how nervous he gets when we ask about anything. He has to want our help. If we force the issue, we’ll lose him. You see how spooked he is on a daily basis.”
