“Moya lyubov.” Ilya whined, looked absolutely pained and it took all of Shane’s control to smother his laughter, to school his expression into a mix of hurt and disappointment. It was all in the eyes, and it did wonders on his fiance.

Their bodies collided, Shane stumbled, tried to catch himself and not land on Ilya, but he failed completely.
Shane's face hit Ilya's unexpectedly. Their lips met abruptly as their faces collided. For a heartbeat, they were both awkwardly pressed against each other.
Shane's eyes went wide, panic spread across his face. Kissing Ilya wasn't anything new to him, or anything he disliked in particular, but he couldn't show that right now. This was an accident, obviously. The crowd would understand, right?
Shane jerked back immediately, but the crowd started cheering louder than at a fucking Stanley Cup Finale.
