Summary
Over 2000 years ago, Morax has little to no interactions with the Anemo Archon. Decarabian locks himself in his tower, believing falsely that his prison kept his people safe. Morax was never able—nor particularly inclined to—tell him otherwise.
So he was not surprised when Decarabian’s own people overthrew him. What he was surprised at though, was the new Anemo Archon that replaced him.
Or: Zhongli and Venti, throughout the ages.

Summary
Venti is not born with knowledge of love. He is naught but a wisp of the wind at the start, after all. What use does an elemental have for human sentiments?
And yet he learns it anyway, from those who prays to him and from the god he looks up to. From conscious comes curiosity, and from curiosity springs empathy. With empathy comes love.
And with love comes the proof that he is no longer a mere wind spirit, but also Venti.
(Or: How Venti learns of love and falls in love with the earth, from the past to the present.)

Summary
Over 6000 years ago, Morax is but a young man—barely even a god yet. Azhdaha, too, is but a curious earth dragon who longed to see the sun. By chance, the two meet and become friends.
But that is a tale from an antediluvian age. Now all that lingers beneath the moonlight are regrets and farewells.
Or: Zhongli and Azhdaha, throughout the millenniums, until the day of their inevitable parting.

Summary
As the God of Freedom, Venti knows that there are different types of freedom. There is the freedom to go wherever you want, the freedom to live the life of your choice, and the freedom to express yourself. There is also, paradoxically, freedom in chains.
Love and trust are one such chains. When you have someone you can trust completely, there is something freeing in giving them control; safe with the knowledge that they’ll never harm you. Venti has never experienced such freedom, but he wants to.
And so, Venti goes to his fellow immortal friend, Zhongli, with a contract.

Summary
Stories set in the Earth and Wind universe.
It started out because I wanted to write a fic that focuses on Zhongli and Venti’s relationship way back in 1.0 (back then, there was none before me). Somehow, it ends up becoming an exploration of love, in all its myriads of forms and facets.
The title of this series come from a certain thought I have regarding love: Love is like a diamond; no matter which angle you shine light on, its value will remain unchanged. Its forms and aspects may change, and how we express it or label it may differ, but love is still love. Whether it be romantic, platonic, familial, or unrequited, it’s all still important and powerful.
Or at least that’s what I think of it, hahaha… 😅

He is far from alone however, when an equally curious mermech gives his unplanned detour a whole new fountain of study.

Orion finds himself lost and stuck in the middle of nowhere with a giant shark I have affectionately called MerMegs (Or MerMegaShark for long). And they eventually fall in love.

Summary
Orion Pax is an archivist at the Prime Museum of Cybertron in Iacon. It's his dream job, or was, before his mid life crisis kicked in and got him demoted to cleanup duty. While life is seemingly bleak, at least he still has the quasi-comforting Megatronus statue to vent his embarrassingly privileged problems to. At least he can't ever hold it against Orion, because he's not real.

Summary
Orion never asked for much, just knowledge, peace, and perhaps a datapad large enough to store the countless texts he longed to study. When Alpha Trion offered to buy it for him in exchange for helping at a newly opened bakery in Kaon, Orion reluctantly agreed. What he did not expect was for Megatronus, the famed champion of the Kaon pits, to become a regular customer.
Orion thought it would be harmless to leave a little extra, just a small treat.
Little did he know, it was exactly the kind of detail that would draw the champion back for more.

“Are you alright?” Optimus asked, instinctively. He scanned his frame again, but there was no major wound, nothing that would bring Megatron to his knees like this. Optimus reached out a hand, automatic. Megatron’s optics widened as he fell to one knee. “What have you done to me?!” he yelled at Optimus uselessly. He curled around his torso, as if to protect his spark. Then, he noticed the hand. “Stay the fuck away –”
Optinus looked at him, confused, afraid, until – of course. The conjunx endura bond. Hurting him, really hurting him, hurt Megatron, too.
