”I missed you too, spark of my spark,” Terminus fondly murmured as he reached down to pick the mechling up. Said mechling began to beep excitedly in response. “Have you been well, D16?”
D16 nodded, his tiny servos tracing the bolts on his armour as the mechling pressed himself against him to feel the warmth of his engine. D16 grumbled and whined before beginning to harmlessly slap his thick armour, his little servos sounding like the pitter patter of raindrops on a roof. D16 wanted to magnetise to him as he had as a bitlet but he had unfortunately aged to the point where his magnets had been converted into raw materials for him to grow.
”You’re too old to magnetise, little one,” Terminus chuckled as he fondly looked down at his sparkling. “All your magnets have been converted into essential metals for a growing young mech!”
”But I want to be sticky!” D16 shouted, making little grabbing gestures in Terminus’s face as he pouted at his sire. “Sticky! Sticky! Sticky!”

While life is seemingly bleak, at least he still has the quasi-comforting Megatronus statue to vent his embarrassingly privileged problems to. At least he can't ever hold it against Orion, because he's not real.

Although he didn’t let on, the long nights were beginning to weigh on him. He found himself getting lost in thought more, and his reaction time slower. When was the last time he had a full night's recharge? Not since he was in hiding he supposed. He had cared less about his own well being during that time. Whatever found him, he dealt with. But with the Maltos? That risk wasn’t an option. Besides, an extra energon patch would fix him right up in the morning.

Bumblebee hasn't been getting enough sleep since he started living on the Malto farm, and it is affecting him more then thinks. The repercussions are going to catch up with him one way or another.
