As he starts to cry, Lu Guang hears him and lies with him in bed, holding him and comforting him until he falls asleep. But there are things Lu Guang won't say, things he refuses to say, but he promises he'll stay.
They fall asleep together.
Then, Lu Guang sees blood. He watches Cheng Xiaoshi die in his arms once more, but when he opens his eyes, his lover is lying next to him. He's reliving the grief over and over, but Cheng Xiaoshi is still here, still breathing, still lying in his arms. They talk until dawn until they eventually fall back asleep. And Lu Guang decides, he's not going to let his love slip away from him, no matter what.
A one shot focusing on their relationship and what they fear most -- losing one another.
