The third floor was host to a myriad of quiet hideaways. Reading nooks, study rooms, and cozy seated corners like the one they were tucked into now. Erik had to give Charles credit, he had done well transforming this hollow mansion into a safe haven for students of all ages.
But Erik of all people knew that peace was a false promise. The quiet -as alluring as it seemed- held no real safety.
The bandage curving around the back of Pietro’s skull proved as much.

Kate’s life had been a whirlwind the last week and standing in her Mother’s office as the police tore it to shreds searching for evidence really seemed to sum it up pretty well. The police had torn the rooms to shred and Kate knew she needed to clean up the mess, yet all she had been able to do since they left was stand in the middle of the room, frozen, unsure of what steps to take next.

Kate has had a pretty garbage week after learning that her Mother would be going to jail and is unsure of what to do next when Clint shows up and helps calm her down.

"What's with the whole..." Pietro began, his fingers wiggling in a playful imitation of Magneto's magnetism. "Stealth act?"
Magneto's sudden flustered demeanour caught Wanda off guard. “Only a limited number of people know about… our relation.” Such a pompous man, Wanda thought. “It would probably be best if that detail was kept to ourselves….” He continued, his gaze shifting away as if unable to meet her eyes.
