Tommy felt like he couldn’t breathe as panic clawed at his ribcage and sunk itself deep into his heart. Surely Dream was kidding? Surely Dream would wheeze out a laugh and jokingly berade Tommy for how scared he looked, say that it was just a joke. “You’re going to TheFirstEmpire. You’re going to become one of Philza’s humans,”
It felt like his whole world had been flipped upside down and mercilessly shook.
Every part of him wanted to believe Dream was lying.. He wanted to beg, plead, get down on his knees and cry for Dream to do something because Tommy didn’t want to leave!He didn’t want to be some dumb peace offering to another coven! He didn’t want to leave Dream, even as mean and cruel as he could be.

Logan made a joke. He was on the phone with his friend, and that’s all he did. He made a joke; he thought nobody would hear if there was no reporter or other driver.

Why was he getting stared at by people who wouldn’t even spare him a damn glance? Why was he sweating absolute bullets by the time the video had ended? He prided himself on how he could avoid both parties whenever they were wreaking havoc across the city. That in itself should be considered a super power.
Up until one late autumn night when he ends up catching an injured villain. Quite literally.

Dream just wanted to go to college, hang out with his friends, and live his life to the best of his abilities. He wanted to stay as far removed from the super-powered population of the city as he could. It seems fate didn't care what he wanted and would drag him kicking and screaming into their midst.
