We all know that scene where Emily takes the brunt of the impact from Vox's machine and loses a wing, right? Well, did everyone notice Alastor dragging himself across the ground trying to get away before Vox aimed it straight at them? This is a little more in-depth, where Vox is even creepier, Alastor didn't escape Shok.wav or the blast unharmed, and the hotel-goers remind him he has a family now.

Summary
Before he was the Radio Demon, before static laughter haunted Hell’s airwaves, he had another name, one unspoken for eons:
Alastor, Heaven’s Executioner.
In forgotten celestial records, he was not a shepherd but a blade: swift, unyielding, sent to strike down souls too broken, too violent, too far gone for salvation.
An avenger.
Just a weapon.
Even the sharpest blade dulls without understanding. Heaven feared that flaw, feared how he judged without ever living beside the condemned. So they acted:
Erase his memories.
Seal his true form.Cast him to Earth as a mortal. “Learn,” they commanded. “Sin. Struggle. Choose.”
Only after tasting mortality, feeling heartbreak, wading through the mud, hunger, and the compromise of human life would he be fit to judge.Only then would the gates open. Only then would he be welcomed home.
He did not know then that this demand, this holy experiment, was Heaven’s first cut.

Summary

Summary
The Metatron’s laughter stutters to nothing and his smile shifts into something of a sneer. “What is it that you choose, then?”
Aziraphale can’t help it. He’s always been a bit of a bastard. He spares a look at Crowley, who looks at him in turn. Crowley’s face doesn’t so much as twitch, a skill perfectly honed out of necessity when one works for the likes of Hell, but Aziraphale can see the overwhelming dread all the same. He and Crowley both know what he’s about to do, and only one of them has the power to stop it.
“Angel?” Crowley mouths silently, anxiously.
Aziraphale takes two steps back. His heel pivots on the edge of The Void. “Don’t!” Crowley goes to bolt forward, but the guards hold him back. “No! Don’t do this!”
“Come and find me, my dear.”
He falls back.
“AZIRAPHALE!”
