Stanley holds up a gloved hand, his index finger raised. “You’re much dirtier and older than me.” His middle finger joins in. “Wrapping that shit up will only trap bacteria and make you more liable to go septic.” Ring finger joins the team. “There’s no way you can walk on that busted-up leg.” Little finger comes running, last man on the field. “I have been hauling your ass out of the jaws of monsters for months on end, I am much stronger than you think I am.”
Stan and Ford have been chasing monsters for some time, their relationship scabbed over and brotherly. Embarking on a new part of their adventure might cause a tempest, however.

[I got too busy to finish turning my outline into prose, so the last two chapters are bullet point not!fic. My outlines are casual but fairly detailed; they make for a different reading experience than finished prose, of course, but not an unenjoyable one in my opinion. They successfully finish telling the story I set out to tell, so I consider this fic complete.]

Summary
Martin is up late at the Archive a few months after Jane Prentiss leaves him temporarily homeless. It's easy to distract himself with busy work when he can't sleep, but a certain piece of jewelry incidentally catches his eye. By morning, everything has gone slightly funny - his need for Jon is burning in his skull, and what's stranger is that nobody seems to notice him acting out of turn. Or, well, they notice, but... It's as mundane as anything else.
How's a man supposed to reckon with this? How do you handle your boss sitting in your lap as if nothing's wrong?

Luckily for Jim, no one knows that he’s the author. Unluckily for Jim, someone forwarded the novel to the staff of the Vulcan embassy. Now, every Vulcan in San Francisco is reassessing the logical merits of taking Human bondmates.
Spock reads a Human/Vulcan romance novel because he can hardly avoid it. Suddenly, he is consumed by the need to locate the author, ascertain their wellbeing, and instruct them in the way of Vulcan mating bonds. Luckily for Spock, it doesn't take long to identify the author as Jim Kirk. Unluckily for Spock, Jim is unconscious and surrounded by interested Vulcans who also read the book.

(inactive unfortunately :( i've thought about returning but it's unlikely. I do have tons of unpublished drafts and plans for this au, so anyone who wants to see that can feel free to message me!)
Stanford tells Fiddleford that he may finally be ready to forgive Stanley for what happened back in '72, and the two scientists search for the wayward brother with intentions to offer an Oregon home in exchange for some help with the portal's destruction. But when they find him, they discover that they may have bitten off more than they're prepared to chew—because Stanley's got an enormous, overprotective Cane Corso named Knuckle Dusters.
Now, Ford and Fidds have this big, hulking, slobbery mess to live with. (Not to mention, they have to live with Stan's dog.)
