(Yes the title is from sofia the first, yes I'm laughing at it, I find it funny-)
In which Phil has created the Antarctic Empire from the ground up and takes in Techno and Wilbur along the way, and raises them while also ruling his kingdom. Tommy, sixteen, lives with Tubbo in an orphanage, the two of them running around in the cold streets of their town.
After a hectic day of getting separated from Tubbo, getting into a few fights, and ending up in an entirely new town, he comes across Phil, and saves him from an assassination attempt by smashing a plate over someone's head.
So then both Techno and Wilbur decide to see who this kid is, and Tommy sure is endearing, in the way that the first time they spy on him, he starts a fight in an alleyway over a bag of cookies.
(and then Tommy basically gets kidnapped into the royal family, but like, legally, y’know?)

For years Techno's piglin instincts insisted the piglin hybrid protect and keep Tommy safe. It doesn't matter that Tommy has betrayed him, it doesn't matter that Tommy isn't in danger, it doesn't matter that Techno isn't quite himself when his instincts kick in, all that matters to that small corner of Techno's brain, is that Tommy is safe and Techno is the one protecting him. Thankfully, even with all the hurt feelings and hatred brewing between them, their family have an agreement and an understanding when it comes to this. Tommy will let Techno protect him, even if it's only for a day.

Summary
The City of Manburg falls apart at the seams, the land once standing for freedom was under a dictator. Tommy and Tubbo born into this nation already either lost or were abandoned by their families. Finding refuge with Niki, the friendly shop owner who uses her bakery as a front for the rebellion. All that matters is they have each other.
Though Tommy has three soulmates, that he is supposed to one day call a family. He is hesitant to replace the one he lost, covering his soul mark. Tubbo however looks forward to the day his soulmate will be safe under his watch. They share injury marks and his soulmate has done nothing but deepen Tubbo's concern with that tool.
Will tensions come over to a boiling point in Manburg? Will the boys be safe? Does the neighboring Antarctic Empire come into play?
TLDR: Royalty au, but wait there's more

The icy air of the tundra pervaded Tommy, reaching to his bones, and made each step harder than the last, leaving footprints in the deep snow. He hugged himself tighter, desperate to keep warm and make his way to the Technoblade's house. The teenager hoped that his brother would not reject him, or at least let him warm up and not kick him out in thin clothes. What was he thinking when he decided that going God knows where in a thin coat would be a good idea.
“Tommy?”, a familiar deep voice is heard, and the teenager jumps.
“Techno”, he says, trying to get up. His efforts were in vain, he could not even lift his head.Techno immediately grabs him by the shoulders, hot wide palms warm him, and he leans in search of warmth. Something heavy, but insanely warm envelops him, then Tommy is taken in his arms, and he just lies on his chest, closing his eyes.
