Summary
When Lanyon is inflicted with a curse that will kill the person he loves most, he finds himself in a race against the clock to save Jekyll's life. In an act of desperation, he turns to the person he hates the most to trick the curse into believing he is in love with them instead while they search for a cure together.
If they die then all he loses is his worst enemy, if they find a cure then all's well that ends well. All he has to do to pull it off is trick the entire society into believing he is in love with Edward Hyde.
It should have been that simple, if it wasn't for the fact that Lanyon is Lanyon and Hyde is so very, awfully, Hyde.
If one thing is for certain, it's that the society won't survive the two of them combined.

1146 says nothing, but Cancer's next sentence makes his jaw drop, eyes wide with horror.

Very good, would recommend.
For anyone who enjoys TMA, I would say this one is a mixture of the Lonely and partly the Slaughter, but the latter is just by proxy of the fact the TF2 universes is one of the most slaughter coded things to exist in fiction. Violence for the sake of violence and all.
For anyone who’s normal, and doesn’t know what the heck I meant by the previous paragraph, basically the fic is very good at showing the reader feelings of isolation and loneliness, alongside the general violence that naturally comes with team fortress 2
