For centuries, the statue had laid there. People built a village nearby, worshipping him, believing that even in his sleep he could protect them. They called him Angalha-- The One Who Slumbers. With enough sacrifices and worshippers, surely he would awaken.
Three boys, three brothers by bonds of choice, cry out to the heavens with pleas for a savior, a protector, for a parent. For safety, and for love.
All it takes is a prayer.
The universe rocks as he awakens at last, prepared to uphold his unspoken promises, and to finally exact his revenge.

Summary
Phil had had a certain image in his head when the police had knocked on his door informing him that a shapeshifter had been caught living as a dog in the local park and that said shapeshifter had recently used Phil's 14-year-old son's visage for purposes unknown. Yet, upon going to confront this shapeshift, instead of what he'd expected, he found a terrified 7-year-old racoon hybrid. When Phil was told they were struggling to find someone to foster him after all of the stunts he'd pulled, there was really only one thing Phil could do.
Tommy is not particularly enthused to be fostered by the man whose son's face he'd stolen. Foster families were bad enough without already having a reason to hate him and without a lock on his powers. There was no kind reason Phil would want him in his custody. He just needs to figure out what type of bad it will be.
(Yes, I'm writing a story with the same basic premise once again. Yes, I am doing so in a genre that is oversaturated on this site. No, I will not apologize.)

“Be my apprentice,” Icarus blurted.
Tommy blinked. Gradually, the corners of his mouth dropped into the deepest frown he’d ever made. “What the fuck? Why?”
“Why?” Icarus froze and Tommy raised a judgemental eyebrow. “It’s because of your powers.”
“My powers,” he echoed. “I never told you whether or not I had powers.”
“I can… sense them,” Icarus bullshitted. Tommy pinched the bridge of his nose.
“Right. What are they, then,” he retorted.
“Uh… super… powers,” the villain answered, sounding more unsure of himself by the second.
Tommy wanted to bash his head against a wall. “Really? That’s the best you could do?”

Tommy isn’t sure why handing someone their keys is such a big deal, but now he’s left with a huge problem: Every supervillain in the city wants him to be their apprentice!

Tommy squirmed in his grip, his wings bristling from where they dragged on the ground at the implications of such a sentence.
“Let- let me go!” He growled, “You fucking bitch— I can’t believe your doing this! Let me go!” He hissed, but his words came out more sluggish and whiny then intended. The Blood God looked down at him, his red eyes blazing as he stared at him.

Or, Techno, Wilbur, and Tommy are basically chaotic forces of nature, destined from birth to end the world and bring destruction. Most who hear of the tale of them are trying their best to track them down, and to end the monsters while they’re still young, still just children.
Phil has a different plan.
(In which Phil raises the minecraft equivalents of the anti-christ with love and support, so much so to the point where the world ending is really just a funny thought, and Phil has three kids who casually have powers that are bit more extreme than anything else in the world)

Tommy is practically covered in Dream's gifts, precious gems mined and crafted just for it, because it had been good, it had caused chaos and Dream had used it to keep the kingdom safe. It had done its job well.
And so Tommy closes its eyes and leans into Dream's warm touch, knowing that it would soon be snatched away, leaving it to drown without an anchor again.

Wilbur almost died a week ago. He didn't, but he almost did.
He's back home living with a father he hasn't spoken to in three years. With shaky fingers, he picks up his old habits and tries to mimic the routine of the man he once was. He's trying. It's not much - he's still a shitty person trying to make up for all the wrong he did, but he is trying. For Phil. For Techno. For himself.
He was getting it together. He almost had it back together.
And then a unruly blond teenager stumbled into his store two minutes before close, and Wilbur's world fell apart.

“Tommy,” Phil looked concerned, eyebrows pinched and nose scrunched up, “I-” He paused, looking around the alleyway, as if it contained all the answers. Hell, maybe it did. Maybe they’d do some soul searching in this alley, and come up with the conclusion that not all witches were evil and deserved to be punished, that maybe witches were just people with a couple of tricks up their sleeves that not everyone had. Maybe they’d come out of the alley as a new family, this time with no secrets. “I--listen, Tommy, I don’t believe that you could be--” He paused again, fumbling for words it seemed. Tommy narrowed his eyes, “--you know. One of them. But, either way, I have to take you in. You know that.”

or: Being a witch is not easy, not by any definition of the word--not here at least. With witch hunts and bans on anything magical plaguing the country, witch hunters roaming every street corner, we focus on Tommy. The biases of this world spell trouble for him, as he's a witch and the youngest son of one of the top hunters in the country--his brothers closely following him in rank.
Really, it made sense that Tommy was found out.
He despised it nonetheless.

He sped past dozens of signs with various messages on them, but they all meant relatively the same thing: “All Fae keep out or die.” some of them even said it outright.
Tommy’s wings screamed as he beat them desperately to get an extra boost of speed to push him through the trees into an open field. A panorama of farmland stretched out before him.
Tommy could feel shift in the air as fae magic gave way to nether magic. Tommy shivered and he knew that they noticed he had entered their realm. Their empire.
He slowed and spun around to see the pursuing fae skid to a stop at the edge of the woods, sneering at him. They all knew that Tommy was as good as dead now, himself included.

“I mean… yeah, let’s go with that in case this ends up on the news,” Siren shrugged, looking back at Tommy. “I kidnapped you, right?”
“Yeah, sure,” Tommy agreed, knowing that if they said he was kidnapped, it would keep people from getting suspicious of why he was seen in public with Siren. “Anyway, can I get the chicken nuggets happy meal, with a coke?”
or, how Tommy—who is not a hero, or a villain, or even a vigilante—saves the life of one of L'Manberg's most feared supervillains, and accidentally ends up becoming the resident doctor for every supervillain in town (and maybe gets a family along the way too).
