While the Valar were figuring out how to read a calendar, Freya did the math. She got to review the homework before taking the test this time, which was nice, but that made the most likely endgame obvious. She knew from the second she offered to do it that reverse fetch-questing an evil ring was going to be rough. She was trying anyway. Because she was very, very stupid.
She expected to pay a high price for the chance to stay.

Summary: Home-invasion gone wrong, A bitter, sarcastic woman falls into Middle Earth and is saved by the most unlikely of beings: a gruff dwarf by the name of Dwalin.
Unable to communicate, injured, and indebted to the grumpy Darrow, Kore ops to follow her savior, wherever he may go.
Oh, and she also has a gun and not-so-healthy coping mechanisms.Aka: A 23 year old college student falls into middle earth after defending herself from a mugger in her home. She get stabbed in the forest and then saved by a man shorter than herself. or at least, she thought it was a man. The dwarf Dwalin keeps Kore close, and the two grow strangely attached to one another, despite the language barrier. Kore tags along for the duration of the Hobbit, no doubt giving the company a few more grey hairs along the way. Things get even stranger as Kore starts to change...
