Waking up at home was like waking up from a nightmare. One that he’d lived for two years.
He remembered. Everything that had stayed out of his reach for so long he could remember. He was Izuku Midoriya, his moms name was Inko, he was from Japan in the year 22xx, and there were no pokémon here. There were no Wardens or Nobels, No Galaxy Team or Bandits or Volo, No Legends, No Akari.
He was never going to see them again.

Upon completing the Pokédex, Arceus keeps it's end of the bargain and returns Izuku to his home at the very moment he left. With no warning of this, Izuku struggles to grapple with a modern world he only so recently remembered. His friends he made in Hisui are a world away in the distant past, all but dead now. His whole world has tilted and everything feels uncertain
But he has his team. He has his memories, and his mom back.
Izuku will be a hero. Of that, there is little doubt.

Class was already starting to get annoying today. It was chilly on the plateau and was making him shake in his jacket. But even now, as they were sent off for an assignment in the terrarium, Kieran still felt off. He really didn’t want to be outside and surrounded by all of these pokemon.
Their task was to draw a card, and whichever pokemon they got, they needed to go and catch one to study for a week. And of course Kieran drew the card for a pokemon from the polar biome. A Vulpix.

Unfortunately, both were significant enough that sending them to Hisui was a major risk.
So sometimes, when the stars aligned, Arceus would need to branch out.

Izuku would like to file a formal complaint with the powers that be. Being kidnapped across time and space was not on his to-do list on a Tuesday night. Not that he can remember what he had been doing, or even that it was Tuesday. In fact there are only two things Izuku can really remember.
