Aziraphale wasn't one of the angels tasked with creation. He wasn't ever expected to create anything new, but as it happened, he already had, though no-one (including him) realised it.
He had, completely on his own and with very little fuss, invented being desperately, hopelessly in love with someone who didn't even know his name.
AU. Aziraphale gets a shock when he runs into the Archangel Raphael in the Garden, especially since he's calling himself "Crowley" and pretending to be just any old ordinary angel. Meanwhile Crowley just wants someone to appreciate him for himself without all the convoluted power games of Heaven...

Summary
Anywhere from someone's eighteenth to twenty-fifth birthday, they wake up with a tattoo that depicts the first words their soulmate will ever say to them. Typically, they're something generic, as not every meeting can be dramatic; however... these two men are anything but normal.
Leonard A. Jameson is a famous movie director, known for writing scripts that detail the bond between soulmates. Nobody but him knows that he never received his mark, and he thinks he's destined to be alone for his entire life, loveless and unwanted, as he writes what he craves.
Stanley is just another man on the crew. His arm is so thick with ink, inscribed with a rant that he'd had on his skin for over a decade now. When he finally hears the words spoken aloud, he's too anxious to tell the man in front of him that they're soulmates.
To put it lightly, some chaos is going to ensue.
