He’s had enough of working for a photography company with an off-the-books philosophy of "sleaze and cheese", he's had enough of getting forced into assignments at the last minute when the company president decides he's flitting off to party with D-list celebrities instead. He’s quitting. This is, in fact, his last job.
At least it's an easy shoot - a puff piece on some up-and-coming Canadian singer-songwriter on the indie circuit who's just been catapaulted to widespread fame. No complications, no controversy. He'll be in his apartment and wallowing in his bamboo-silk sheets before he knows it.

Sebastian had thought a lot about how his father would react if he found the tiny sliver of happiness he had carved out for himself in Lima. Usually he imagined it happening when he was with Blaine. His father driving past as Sebastian climbed into or out of Blaine’s BMW two blocks from his house. Or of him cutting a trip short and coming home earlier than expected to find Blaine in his house, fucking his son.
But there was something comforting knowing Blaine would be there. Because of course he would. And what could his father possibly do to him with Blaine around? And that thought made the inevitable not seem so scary.
He should have been scared.

After Blaine finished singing “It’s Not Right but It’s Okay” for Whitney Houston’s tribute week, the choir room went silent. Only pants from those who sang could be heard. Blaine’s eyes were glassy and reddened, about to burst into tears. Complete opposite of the previous day, where he was fuming after reading Kurt’s private conversations with Chandler without the former's permission. But, alas, all that remains in the past. Much like their relationship.
