“I only miss one person from my old life.” Tommy says, “His name was Wilbur, and he was a teenager. He showed up in my back garden one day, and we kind of made friends. I really wanted him to take me to his family - his daddy sounded so kind - but he never did. He used to play games with me, and we had so much fun. He never used to talk to my father, or my uncle. They never even got to see him!” He pouts, staring into Tubbo’s dark eyes. They’re almost covered by his fluffy brown hair, Tommy thinks it’s pretty cool.
Tubbo laughs breathlessly, “Maybe your Wilbur will find you and his daddy will foster you. That would be nice.”

After Tommy is taken from his father's home and to a children's home, he never sees his friend Wilbur again. He does, however, meet Wilbur's father, whether he knows it or not.
(Expect: angst, no happy ending, tommy being a small child, wilbur being a good and irritatingly cryptic older brother figure)

He was also famous for his generosity. He was constantly having charity concerts and donating money to children’s hospitals and shelters. He invested in solar power. Yet he was still one of the riches people on the planet.
But Wilbur has been feeling... empty.
Not empty exactly. Just that something was missing.
He had his fans, his over-paid maids and workers at his mansion. He had his body guards.
But he just... was lonely in the big mansion.
There was a big yard with no one playing in it. There was noiseless halls without laughter.
He needed something.

Ranboo didn’t know a lot. He didn’t know much about his coven. He didn't remember much from when he was a human. He didn't even remember his sire's face. He did however, know that it was her blood on the floor.
Ranboo's sire died, which in most circumstances would mean he was going to follow after pretty quickly. Fortunately for him, he ends up with someone willing to take him on even though he's probably too far along in fledglinghood to get a replacement sire.
It's... a little awkward the person helping him totally murdered his sire in cold blood.

A wrist was pressed against his mouth. “Drink,” Technoblade said into his ear, and any lingering hope that he might just kill him here or better yet just let him die from his injuries instead of dragging him back to their sire withered away. Tommy kept his mouth shut. “Drink, now, or you’re going to die.”
Scorned fledglings either had a sympathetic adult vampire take them on as a substitute sire or died. The first was not an option for Tommy. Everyone knew the moment he managed to wiggle out of the cruel grip of his own sire that helping him was a death sentence. In fact, coming face to face with any vampire meant getting dragged back to those who'd laid claim to his blood. Few wanted to go against the Sleepy Coven; all wanted to gain favor with them. His fate was to die on the street at best. At worst... well, that's why he’d ran.
Yet, he ended up blessed by circumstance (for once) with a third option curtesy of his best friend Tubbo whose hands were stained with magic and who was willing to do what was necessary to keep him alive, bloodsucker or not.
(I adore all of the Dark SBI vampire fics, but I'm also a wimp, so I want it to all be a horrible misunderstanding and for them to all hug at the end.)
