Sakura is my favorite Naruto character, and the hate she get's is beyond me! So here a kinda time travel fix-it AU! I pull from quite a few tropes- but I hope to be as original as possible :). Also Shisui lives and he's very dear to me<3

Summary
School is finally out for winter break, and Mike Wheeler is having a full-on crisis. Not only is he running into his “friendly neighborhood Spider-Man” more often than he would like or expect, but he's simultaneously having to endure the excruciating experience of falling in love with his best friend.
…Of course, there’s also the fact that said best friend and Spider-Man are the same person, but Mike’s still figuring that out.
To put it simply, this Christmas is bringing him nothing but a mental breakdown.(Essentially, Will is Spider-Man, and Mike has no idea. For now, at least.)

“Do you want to go home?” He questions, leaning close and voice soft, and Will pauses, before nodding again. Mike lets out a breath, and lets his hand press against Will a little more firmly when he starts to sway in place again. “Okay, let’s go.”
Then he looks up and is met with smug faces, and Mike flushes when he realizes his own hypocrisy.
“I don’t talk like that,” Max recalls, voice high-pitched and overly girly and – Mike definitely doesn’t talk like that.
According to everyone in his life, Mike has a voice reserved just for Will. He tries to figure out what that says about him.

It’s peaceful, leaning against his car, resting one of his arms on the back of her chair.
“So…are we going to talk about Will rendering you completely useless back there in the hallway or are we going to keep basking in our total love and adoration for each other.” Max dryly asks.
Suddenly, it’s not so peaceful.
Mike groans, throwing his head back to direct his eyes at the sky. “Dude, how could you even notice that? You can’t see shit.”
The redhead turns around in her wheelchair, swiveling in his direction. “I’m blind, not oblivious, asshole. Every time you act like a big, gay idiot, my spidey senses start tingling.”
Mike blinks at her. “What?”
Max grins at him in response. ‘Don’t worry about it. Don’t think I don’t notice you avoiding my question, Wheeler. You can’t ignore me.”

Mike nods and suddenly feels nervous again, the ease from their light banter dissipating all at once. It was time to go to Will’s locker. He starts to wish he had a time machine so he could stop himself from ever putting that note there. What was he even thinking? This was so stupid.
Will doesn’t have a clue. Mike feels like throwing up and Will is walking towards it without a care in the world, he doesn't know but he’ll know soon and it’s all out of Mike’s control now what happens. When they get there, he quickly turns the lock to put his code in and it opens with a creak.
The letter immediately falls out and sways in the air a bit before finally making its way to the floor. Will doesn’t miss it out of the corner of his eye and looks down at it confused. He bends down to pick it up and Mike is picking at the skin of his fingernails.

Or: Mike confesses his love for Will through an anonymous note. The Party is up for the challenge in figuring out who it is, to Mike's complete and utter dissatisfaction.
