Stephanie let out a (very dramatic, in Tim’s opinion) gasp, and Duke choked on his sandwich.
Damian and Jason sent identical scowls to the picture, skeptical.
“Who is dealing to you?” Jason deadpanned, “When I told my men to stop dealing to children I didn’t think they’d start offering it up to the Bats.”
“Shut up, Jason–” Both glowered, and he raised his hands in mock surrender. It was a testament to how their relationship improved the the years.
Duke hummed thoughtfully, now no longer choking.
“I mean, they kinda do,” He covered the lower half of Superman’s face, “Look,”
Or, Gotham's newest vigilante looks like Superman. Obviously, he's his son.

“No fucking suicidal ideation right now.” He spat. Dazai blinked up at his with those big chocolate eyes, sending waves of irritation down Chuuya’s body.
“Aww, and here I was thinking it would make such a good story.”
“What the fuck did I expect.” At this point, Dazai was weighing the possibilities. Atsushi and the others didn’t need either of them to get the children to Ango. The Port Mafia side would already be collecting the drugs from other warehouses and taking care of the stragglers.
He tipped forward on his toes, crashing his lips into the spirited man’s. He felt Chuuya tense and, a few seconds later, a punch crushed his jaw. The pain blossomed, like a low throb in the back of his head. There was blood on his lips either from where the little shrimp had bitten him or the cut on the inside of his cheek.
It didn't matter. Dazai would get him back.
Yes, its bodyswap soukoku. Yes, expect angst, fun, and an emotional bender between Dazai and Chuuya as they come to find each other again.

"Dazai..." Chuuya's voice comes out too tight and small, unlikely to ever reach Dazai. His hand lifts shakily, in some dazed attempt to stop him. There is panic wild and fast in his chest, the beginnings of hyperventilation, his breaths shallow and quick.
Something's wrong, something's wrong—
This hurts too much, it's not supposed to be like this—
His vision is blurring, and his head is taut and aching with the stress and anxiety and so much anguish that he can barely comprehend it.
The last of Dazai's hazy form disappears, far in the distance.
_______Forced into a difficult situation, Dazai has to leave Chuuya behind post-Corruption without his usual thorough check-up. Only, he has no idea just what state Chuuya was in as he was walking away from him that night.
Grief is a good teacher on how to value those you love. When he gets Chuuya back, Dazai uses his lessons well.
