“Exactly,” Izuku muttered. His tears dried. He breathed more evenly, and the ebbing panic left room for embarrassment to trickle in. His ears warmed. “It’s because you’re not looking at the camera.”
or: Some pictures have more meaning to Izuku than others. He has a soft spot for the ones of Shouto looking at him as if he's hung the stars.

Shouto grips onto the toilet seat with clenched white knuckles. The sudden release has him choking, gasping for air. The bitter taste of bile lingers on his tongue, burning, a reminder of his sour failure—weakness.
His fingers shake and tremble uncontrollably as he brushes away damp strands of hair that stick to his forehead. His stomach aches, punishingly. The acidic sting sears his throat.
